After writing and directing the first three film of The Purge franchise James Demonaco now handing over directorial duties to Burning Sands director Gerard McMurray for The Purge 4, EW reports. The film will be set on Staten Island during the first purge. It becomes a monetization of murder and violence, incentivizing killing and keeping people around for them to be victims. So you see the inception of how grotesque the idea of the

Starring Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, and Henry Thomas, the film centers on a woman whose husband suddenly dies while she is handcuffed to their bed, leaving her unable to free herself. As time passes she realizes that rescue is an all but hopeless and begins to slip into insanity. Called “horrific, hypnotic, and terrific,” by Stephen King, Gerald’s Game premieres on Netflix’s streaming service on Friday, September 29, 2017.
