Fans of ‘Ash vs Evil Dead‘ (including us) are eagerly awaiting the series’ return this October. The second season is going to bigger and badder (in a good way) than the first. We will not only get a look at Ash’s (Bruce Campbell) past, we will meet his dad, his childhood best friend, an old high school sweetheart and see some serious deadite ass-kicking. A new “big bad” will be introduced this season. We will also see what is being described as the “most outrageous death scene to ever be aired on television“. It’s going to be incredible! The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There he confronts Ruby, and the former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil. Starz has just released this season’s character promotional images and we just happen to have them right here.

Man Convicted Of Child Cruelty For Making Kid Watch A Horror Film

Yes, you did read that headline correctly. The UK’s Mirror is reporting that a few days ago a 53-year-old man named Peter Bayliss was convicted on child cruelty charges for forcing a child to watch George Romero’s classic zombie film ‘Night of the Living Dead’. The charges have come 20 years after the night he showed the film to the girl, 6 at the time, as a punishment for misbehaving. Bayliss’ alcoholism was blamed for his lack of judgement at the time of the incident. He was convicted and sentenced by the Shrewsbury Crown Court, receiving a six-month suspended sentence, as well as 160 hours of community service. There is no word to why it took 20 years for charges to be filed. This was not sustained abuse but you, quite deliberately, made a child watch a horror film as a punishment for behaving like a child.” The court said to Bayliss. “And she suffered, not in a long-term psychological

Blind Artist George Redhawk Creates Amazing Gifs For The Horror Sci-fi Thriller Morgan

George Redhawk, a legally blind motion effects artist, has created a special series of his beautiful, eerie GIFs for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘Morgan’. Using special visual-aid software he creates amazing motion artwork to “show the world as he sees it from his damaged sight.” ‘Morgan’, from producer Ridley Scott, follows a “…corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) who is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.” Redhawk’s use of technology to create his artwork is parallel to the scientists in the film creating Morgan, who is both an amazing, beautiful creation and a terrible danger. Directed by Luke Scott, written by Seth W. Owen, ‘Morgan’ stars Mara, Rose Leslie, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Chris Sullivan, Paul Giamatti, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Michael Yare and Anya Taylor-Joy as

Movie Review: Summer Camp (2015)

Director Alberto Marini’s 2015 ‘Summer Camp‘, co-written by Danielle Schleif, has just made it to Netflix’s DVD library. I’ve been wanting to see it and last night I finally did. The film begins with four camp counselors (3 American), played by Diego Boneta (Scream Queens), Jocelin Donahue (Insidious: Chapter 2), Maiara Walsh (Zombieland) and Andres Velencoso, getting ready the day before the camp’s opening. Things begin to go very wrong when one of the camp’s dogs seems to go rabid. What the councilors don’t know is that it is not rabies, but something worse. While in the wine cellars, the two guys get into a fight after one begins to attack while black ooze drips from his mouth. In the struggle one is killed. Soon another councilor begins to have the same symptoms, aggression and a taste for blood. Now the group is in all out fight for survival. Unfortunately, ‘Summer Camp’ plays out like many camp horror films do.
