“The Walking Dead” Getting A Third Series

Even with declining ratings, it seems you can’t keep the undead down. “The Walking Dead” may be losing viewers, but that won’t kill AMC’s plan to expand the undead universe. With the series already renewed for their next season, they are invested with plans to make feature films for their most popular characters like Rick Grimes. They are also continuing with crossovers with their spin-off series “Fear the Walking Dead.” “TWD” is everywhere. Get this, they now plan to expand even further with a second spin-off. Yes, you read that right, a new yet to be titled series. Currently in development, the third series’ title has not been revealed. During a recent Q4 phone call, AMC’s chief operating officer, Ed Carroll, had this to say about the new show: That is in active development. Found Footage Flick ‘Unlisted Owner’ Coming To Blu-Ray

Lawford County Productions announces the upcoming release of the found footage film Unlisted Owner on Blu-ray for the first time, following a successful (now out of print) DVD run that landed the found footage movie in Amazon’s “Top 10 Hot New Horror Releases” of 2017. The Blu-ray features 20 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage and a new commentary with writer/director Jed Brian and co-writer Tyler Landers, moderated by Stephen Gillhespy of Possessed Radio. Unlisted Owner centers on a group of six friends — played by Gavin Groves, Haidee Corona, Andrea Potts, Jed Brian, Tyler Landers, and Levi Atkins — who make a series of bad choices after hearing about a family of five who were murdered in a house not far from where they will be camping for the night. Guillermo Del Toro Set To Write And Direct Bad Robot’s ‘Zanbato’

After last year’s 3 wins and 13 nominations at the Oscars, for The Shape of Water, it’s no surprise that Guillermo del Toro is still one of the biggest names in Hollywood. Collider is reporting that del Toro has found his next project following Netflix’s Pinocchio which is already in pre-production. The amazing filmmaker will be both writing and directing Zanbato for Paramount and Bad Robot. While many of the details haven’t been shared, Collider has stated that “Zanbato centers around a young female ninja — a character who could be anywhere between 10 and 15 years old.” However, del Toro insists it’s not a ninja movie, it just features some. BTW- NOT a Ninja project,” del Toro tweeted. “But there are ninjas in it.” Bad Robot’s J.J. Abrams will be producing the film along with Lindsey Weber.

“Stranger Things” Actor In Talks To Star In New ‘Ghostbusters’ Sequel

Filming is set to begin this summer on Jason Reitman‘s new sequel to Ghostbusters. Today, word has come via Variety that “Stranger Things” and IT star Finn Wolfhard is in talks to star along with Carrie Coon (Widows). While many of the plot details are being kept hush, hush, we do know that the film will center on a single mom (Coon) and her son (Wolfhard). Rumor is, all three surviving Ghostbusters will be returning. But it has yet to officially be announced. Reitman co-wrote the script with Gil Kenan for the sequel that completely bypasses the 2016 female-driven film. “Who you gonna call?” The Ghostbusters – in theaters July 10, 2020.

Proving once again that “the drive-in will never die,” iconic horror host and exploitation movie aficionado Joe Bob Briggs is back with an all-new “The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs” series exclusively on Shudder, the AMC Networks premium streaming service for horror, thrillers, and the supernatural announced today. The nine-episode original series will air weekly double features streaming live every Friday night at 9:00 p.m ET/ 6:00 p.m. PT, beginning March 29 and concluding on Friday, May 24, Memorial Day Weekend. Each episode will also be made available on demand at a later time. “The Last Drive-In” series marks Briggs return to weekly on-screen appearances for the first time since ending his run on TNT’s MonsterVision in 2000. The second trailer for Hellboy is here and it’s badass AF, teasing an action-packed, bloodier film than its predecessors. David Harbour (Stranger Things) stars as Hellboy in Neil Marshall’s new addition to the Hellboy franchise, which finds Hellboy caught between two worlds, the human and the supernatural and will face an ancient sorceress (Milla Jovovich) hell-bent on destroying mankind in this R-rated film. The Frog Sisters Cast For The CW’s “Lost Boys” Series

Last week reported that The CW is making big changes in the series reboot of The Lost Boys. The first change, the vampire hunting Frog brothers are being swapped out for the Frog sisters. Today, we can report that the Frog sisters have been cast. Cheyenne Haynes (Camping) and Haley Tju (Bella and the Bulldogs) are set to play two teens working at a Santa Carla comic-book store. Until Sam arrives the girl’s think that they’re the only ones who know something is going in town. The changes don’t stop there. Sarah Hay (Flesh and Bone) has been cast as Mollie who was turned by David. Mollie has now become David’s rival seeking to take over the vampire gang. Mollie travels with a pack that includes her vampire son, Laddie. Tyler Posey, Kiele Sanchez, Medalion Rahimi, and Dakota Shapiro have also joined the cast.
