Sci-fi Thriller ‘Chimera’ Set To Premiere At Boston Film Festival

Chimera, the highly-anticipated sci-fi thriller will be holding its North American premiere on Wednesday Aprill 11th as the opening feature of the Boston International Film Festival (BIFF). The attending audience will enjoy the distinguished presence of Oscar® and two-time Golden Globes nominated actress Kathleen Quinlan, LGBT-rights advocate and actress Erika Ervin and first-time writer-director Maurice Haeems as well as cast members Henry Ian Cusick, Kathleen Quinlan, and “American Horror Story” actress Erika Ervin a.k.a. Amazon Eve. “Chimera was filmed entirely in Massachusetts for which the producers give thanks to the assistance of the MA Film Office and to the tax credits offered by the MA Department of Revenue. ‘Heartless’ Screening Date Announced

Award-winning Sunshine Boy Productions’ latest short horror film Heartless will be screening at 5th Annual North Hollywood Cinefest on Monday, March 26th 9:30 pm PST at Laemmle’s NoHo 7 on 5240 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA. The film marks the directorial debut of Kevin Slunder who is one half of the creative team behind Sunshine Boy Productions along with his wife Jennifer. Heartless is about Shelby, played by Stacy Snyder, an overworked and overlooked corporate assistant who struggles to complete a corporate presentation as her conscience gnaws at her. The film is based on Edgar Allen Poe’s story The Telltale Heart as well as paying homage to American Psycho. A Young Woman Is Possessed In The ‘Tell Me Your Name’ Trailer

Watch as a young woman is possessed in the trailer for writer-director Jason DeVan’s Tell Me Your Name. Sydney Sweeney, Madison Lintz, Bruce Davison, Jessica Barth, and Matt Dallas star. In the film, inspired by true events, a teenage girl (Sweeney) moves in with her aunt (Barth) in her late mom’s hometown. ‘Don’t Leave Home’ Unless It’s To Catch This Film At SXSW

Writer-director Michael Tully’s Don’t Leave Home is set to make its world premiere at this year’s SXSW. Starring Anna Margaret Hollyman, Lalor Roddy, Helena Bereen, David McSavage, and Karrie Cox, the film centers on Melanie Thomas, “an American artist whose latest show recounts the infamous Irish urban legend of Father Alistair Burke, who painted a portrait of 8-year-old Siobhan Callahan in 1986. Days later, Siobhan went missing on the very morning that her figure miraculously vanished from the painting as well. Though absolved of any wrongdoing, Burke abandoned the priesthood and went into self-exile. After receiving a bad review before her opening, Melanie is contacted by the reclusive Burke, who offers to fly her to Ireland to create a new sculpture that he will help her to sell while she’s there. Spooky Empire Announces First Round Of Guests And Events

Spooky Empire is gearing up for its annual spooktacular convention in Orlando, Florida. From April 6th through the 8th Spooky Empire will be taking over The Wyndham Orlando Resort. The three-day convention includes an array of activities, including celebrity autographs and meet and greets, photo ops, panels, live performances and the annual tattoo festival featuring more than twenty-five artists. This year, celebrity guests include: • The return of The Chiodo Brothers, the group of sibling creative forces known for movies such as Killer Klowns from Outer Space. What Keeps You Alive Set To Premiere At SXSW

It has now been announced that writer-director Colin Minihan’s What Keeps You Alive will be making its world premiere at this year’s SXSW Film Festival as part of their Midnighter’s line up. The thriller stars Hannah Emily Anderson hot off the heels of her role in Jigsaw, along with Brittany Allen (It Stains the Sands Red), Martha MacIsaac (Superbad), and Joey Klein who starred in the “12 Monkeys'” series. Supernatural Crime Thriller ‘Residue’ To Screen At Crypticon

IndustryWorks Studios, XLrator Media, and Motorcycle Boy Productions have announced a special screening of Residue at Crypticon on May 5, 2018, following its Blu-ray and DVD release last week in the US and Canada.
