One of the best serial killer films to come out of the late 90’s was Philip Noyce’s thriller The Bone Collector, starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie, based on the novel by Jeffrey Deaver. After nearly two decades, the film is getting a series adaptation from NBC, according to The Wrap. The film follows retired forensic criminologist genius Lincoln Rhyme who was left paralyzed after an on the job accident. When a case brings him back into the fold, Rhyme partners with Amelia Sachs, an ambitious young cop, in order to take down a serial killer. Universal Television and Sony Pictures have teamed up with Keshet Studios for the series. Below you will find the trailer for the 1999 original film which is now streaming on Hulu. Netflix and Warner Brothers were hit with a $150 million dollar lawsuit over the appearance of the satanic deity Baphomet in their new series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and the ones filing the lawsuit (might surprise you) are The Satanic Temple, not to be confused with The Church of Satan. The Satanic Temple is a progressive and more politically involved movement that was formed in 2012. The reason for the upset is the focus of the show takes place around a school called The Academy of Unseen Arts in which a statue of Baphomet is seen. The Satanic Temple claims the show not only infringed on the copyright of the image of the goat-headed deity but also defamed it and misled audiences to its origin. In a complaint filed by the Temple (which can be read HERE) it’s mentioned “Prominent use of this symbol as the central focal point of the school associated with evil, cannibalism, and murder blurs and

Since my review of “The Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game”, I’ve played the game twice and have enough to give my final thoughts. The following will contain spoilers as I explain the overall main plot as it may be confusing to those who have played the game and have questions, but at the end (My final thoughts) are spoiler free if you wish to skip down to that. SPOILERS AHEAD! Some of the information I’ll skip over as it’s been mentioned in my review. One whaling ship came back missing half its crew that was lost during the fight to catch this gigantic “Whale” that fed the entire island. Three of the island’s inhabitants, Captain Fitzroy, Dr. Fuller, and Jack

It’s no secret, I’ve been waiting to wrap my tentacles around Cyanide Studio & Focus Home Interactive’s game “The Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game”, I’ve waited patiently for the game’s release but the good folks at Focus Home Interactive gave me a copy, and all I can say about this game is wow! First, let’s get the basics of the story out of the way. You play as a private detective named Edward Pierce from Boston. Pierce is tormented by constant nightmares that may be a result of the action he’s seen in the First World War, his lighter hints of his trauma with the engraving “Lost Battalion 10-7-18” implying Pierce is one of the 194 survivors from one of the most intense battles in WW1. Self-medicating with bootleg hooch and sleeping pills, Pierce is approached by a wealthy industrialist to investigate the death of his daughter and famous painter Sara Hawkins. Hawkins died along with her husband
