An ancient evil is unleashed in the first official trailer for Malice, which is creepy as hell. Directed by Michael Crum (Lake of Fear franchise). The film is an adaptation of a short film by Crum, released in 2013. In the film, “An ancient evil is unleashed upon six people in a cabin that possesses those who are close to death. They must battle against the plague and seal it away before it takes them all over.” Malice, which is currently in post-production, is set to be released later this year from MGI Films.

You’ve seen artists with posable wooden figures, they’re cool but are limited in their movement and expression. This can be hard for someone who wants to get into drawing their own comics, manga, and storyboards. Well, help is on the way in the form of Stickybones, a poseable mannequin for not just drawing, but animation as well! I want to give a big thank you to the awesome folks over at Stickybones for making this review possible by sending over Karl, well, that’s what I’m calling him now. “Who’s Karl?” you’re probably (not) asking. Karl is my Stickybone figure who came in Yellow and Black, not gonna lie, the colors are awesome, giving a crash test dummy/biohazard vibe! Karl came disassembled, DON’T PANIC (like I did), it’s actually quite easy to figure out which parts go where but if the instructions (that came with it) are confusing, Stickybones has an assembly video you can watch! The new adaptation of Stephen King’s tale, The Boogeyman, is on its way. The theatrical release has now been announced for the summer. In the film, a man named Lester Billings talks to his psychiatrist about the “murders” of his three young children, describing the events of the past several years. His first two children died mysteriously of apparently unrelated causes (diagnosed as crib death and convulsions, respectively) when left alone in their bedrooms. The only commonalities were that the children cried, “Boogeyman!” and the closet door was found ajar after discovering their corpses, even though Billings is certain the door was shut. Host and “Bite Size Horror” director Rob Savage is at the helm of the film that began filming this past spring and will expand on the original tale. HBO Max’s upcoming IT prequel series, “Welcome to Derry” has now announced the first four cast members, Variety reports. The first cast members to be announced include Taylour Paige (“Zola,” “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”), Jovan Adepo (“Babylon,” “Watchmen”), Chris Chalk (“Perry Mason,” “All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt”), and James Remar (“Oppenheimer,” “Megalopolis”).
