The splendid and spooky folks at Spirit Halloween sent us a mystery surprise! When I opened the cardboard box, I found a big wooden box with “Spirit Hallows Cemetary” carved on its lid. I was surprised when I opened it to discover a miniature graveyard and a small shovel. I found a plastic pull, and it opened, revealing a dirt-filled grave. I dug up a casket. Inside I found a vampire, which is a magnet, wrapped up in bloody rags. After I closed the box, one of the coolest things we’ve ever gotten, I scanned the code on the back of the card that came with it, and it took me to a page with a video (watch it below) and a list of tombstones teasing the names of the new animatronics Spirit Halloween will soon release. Be sure to visit Spirit Halloween for all your haunting needs! Check out their collection of exclusive limited edition Funkos, too, like the

What’s better than going to a haunted attraction? Being part of one! Making grown men scream and women panic, well, it’s a different type of thrill. You might not know this about me, but I spent a couple of seasons at “The Grudge Girl” in a haunted attraction. And I loved it! And if the thought of being on the scary side of one of those types of events excites you, you’re in luck! Dark Night Halloween World, one of the fastest-growing Haunted pop-up events located in Farmingville, NY, at the Bald Hill Amphitheater, has announced its plans to create the largest Halloween celebration ever – and they’re seeking to collaborate with new creators, performers, artists, vendors, attractions and more to make it happen. Dark Night Halloween World originally opened in 2021 to provide guests with a genuine Haunted Attraction and overall Halloween event with a strong 1980s and 1990s theme. Since the debut of this retro-themed Halloween show, the

I’m not alone when I say I’m not looking forward to summer’s approach and would rather have autumn again and enjoy the wonder and fun of Halloween. Saona Studios is here to scratch that Halloween itch with Death or Treat where you must save Halloween (or at least Hallowtown). Death or Treat follows a little ghost named Scary who runs a mobile candy shop called Ghost Mart. Business should be good in Hallowtown but larger corporations are stealing customers, forcing Scary to take a stand. Now onto the game itself! The controls for Death or Treat are pretty simple as this is a hack-and-slash kind of game with platforming so it’s pretty basic. The soundtrack is pretty good and fits the tone of the game as well as its art. Speaking of art, I really like the animation of the game’s cutscenes and gameplay, definitely can tell it’s hand-drawn, or at least colored in by hand, it flows quite smoothly

It’s never too early to make plans for Halloween decorating or making a funhouse, but you want to add some flair to it to make it memorable. UV and glow-in-the-dark props always add a nice touch but sometimes it’s hard to find some good paint plus you don’t want to shovel out a lot of money. From my experience in building and painting sets and props for live theatre, we always said “Make your own!” and Techno Glow is where you should start! I want to thank Techno Glow for making this review possible as I feel their products are affordable with endless possibilities for uses. I was sent some chartreuse glow-in-the-dark powder along with aqua, along with a UV flashlight as I planned on using some UV resin for a part of this review. I ended up using a silicone ice cube tray that made the face of “The Scream” by Edvard Munch. I used a mix of UV
