‘Sonic’ To Be Redesigned Says Director

First, it was the “creepy legs” on the poster, then it was the “creepy teeth” in the trailer, fans did not hold back how much they hated the look of the iconic video game character Sonic in the upcoming live-action film, Sonic the Hedgehog. The film will follow the iconic character’s misadventures on Earth along with a human sidekick. The “Sonic” games are iconic to many gamers and fans of SEGA. The blue caricature of famed spiky animal species collects rings and frees animals that were turned into robots all while moving at great speed. The game spawned an animated TV series as well as some more up to date games that take place in the Sonic universe. The live-action film came under fire immediately after the teaser poster was released showing a silhouette of Sonic in an “on your mark!” pose with his iconic red shoes visible. Immediately after the release of the poster, fans cringed at the “human-like”

This past Wednesday production kicked off on Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire, which has been nabbed by the genre streaming service Shudder and Terror Films. We couldn’t be more thrilled to premiere the final chapter of this epically terrifying series exclusively on Shudder!” Shudder’s Craig Engler said. Terror Film’s president Joe Dain had this to say about the franchise’s third installment, “Hell House III will be taking a cue from the original Hell House LLC, returning to its roots to capture the same intensity and fear that fans and critics alike fell in love with. We’re thrilled to be continuing our distribution partnership with [writer/director] Stephen [Cognetti] and [producer] Joe [Bandelli], and I couldn’t think of a better way to premiere the film than on Shudder. Movie Review: Dark Sister (2018)

Cassie (Amanda Woodhams) is an artist havin’ a rough go of things. You see, our heroine is plagued with dreams of the murder biz, which she works through with the help of her shrink (Nicola Bartlett) and by creating violent tableaus on her canvas. Of course this being a fright flick and all, those violent visions end up spilling over into Cassie’s wakey-wakey world and those close to her start going tits up, forcing C-dawg to confront her troubled past and use her visions to try and stop the killer before they cause any more horror! Simply put, Writer/Director Sam Barrett (along with Co-Writer Robbie Studsor) has created one of the best giallos to not come from the golden age of the genre…or even Italy (more on that in a tick).! Comprised of a solid murder mystery, fever-dream logic and imagery (appropriate given the emphasis on nightmares in the narrative), absolutely gorgeous lighting (shout out to Cinematographer/Editor Ivan Davidov for

‘Jaws’ Poster Recreated With Real Shark

The Jaws poster is one of the most iconic pieces of movie art of all time. Created by Roger Kastel, the image of features Jaws headed to the surface in search for a meal. Of course, we all know that that meal was a young woman. Not only was the shark featured on the poster for Steven Spielberg’s film, but also the novel written by Peter Benchley as well. This week, Daily Mail shared an image of a real shark that mimics the poster perfectly, minus the girl. Taken by British filmmaker and cage diver Euan Rannachan, the image was captured off the coast of Mexico. The shark in my image is a female and her name is Squirrel. We’d been with her for a while. We have these people on the boat called shark wranglers and they throw these two-foot chunks of tuna to get the shark close to the surface,” Rannachan told the site, explaining how the image

An Interview With Legendary Actor John Noble

I had the incredible honor of sitting down with acting legend John Noble. I won’t lie, as the conversation began, I had a bit of a fangirl moment. You see, I’ve seen every episode of the “Fringe” series (image below) where Noble starred as Dr. Walter Bishop. I’m also a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings franchise, in which Noble starred as Denethor. He has also starred in series such as “Sleepy Hollow”, “The Resident”, “Elementary”, and DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow.” I could go on and on about me being a fan of Noble’s work or how talented he is. But the main topic of our discussion was his latest film, Silencio which is “A carefully underplayed sci-fi time displacement drama in the realm of The Butterfly Effect and Quantum Leap” (Starburst), Silencio fixes on a factual mystical marvel in the heart of Mexico that charges a young psychiatrist the mission of unraveling a real-life X-File!
