If you haven’t watched the episode yet of ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ that click off and download the AMC app. The new episode kicks off with a change of face. See what I did there? The new faces aren’t named but answer the questions as to how so many infected are washing up on the shore still kicking. After one of the guys on the raft knocks the other off from suspion of the man being infected the raft is left with just him a women and a charred man, it’s later revealed the man that knocked the other over the raft is infected as well, as he attacks Travis as he’s fixing the feces backed up yacht underwater. Meanwhile remember last episode when Daniel snooped into Victors stuff to find out what he was hiding, it’s revealed he found out here Victor was taking the clan. The found footage supernatural film JeruZalem, both written and directed by Doron and Yoav Paz, arrives on RedBox April 26th. There are three gates to Hell. One in the desert…One in the ocean…And one in…Jeruzalem. On judgement Day, Hell shall inherit the Earth… The film centers on Rachel (Yael Grobglas) and Sarah (Danielle Jadelyn), two American women who board a plane and meet a charming young archaeologist named Kevin (Yon Tumarkin). He persuades the young women to travel with him to Jerusalem. Once they arrive at the hostel Rachel strikes up a romance with Omar (Tom Graziani) while Sarah and Kevin grow closer. Things suddenly take a turn for the worst when Kevin begins to think that something is happening, and he’s right, the biblical apocalypse has begun. It was bound to happen sometime, a filmmaker capitalized on one of the most used apps of this generation SnapChat. I viewed the first ever SnapChat horror film (short) last night. The short follows a young woman getting SnapChat messages of herself sleeping while she’s home alone. From filmmaker Alex J Mann, whom’s known for shorts such as Gun, Uber Driver and Engagement written and directed this short based around being stalked by a killer though SnapChat. Mann is also the co-founder of Space Oddity Production Company a company focused on exploring the aspects of technology and culture. Here’s what I think: 3 Seconds is definitely a horror short that makes sense for this generation (not sure revalent it’ll be in 5 years when Snapchat is phased out) I’m interested in how the director will [or even if he is] expands upon it, because as it stands now it’s a great short to watch, love the “who’s there aspect”, love

In Jason Zada’s supernatural film The Forest, Sara, played by Natalie Dormer, travels to Japan to search for her sister, who has disappeared into the legendary “Suicide Forest”. With Aiden (Taylor Kinney) as her guide, they enter the forest with a man searching for those who have or are considering suicide. Sara is fueled by the connection between herself and her identical twin sister. She can sense that Jess is still alive, but finding her in the vast haunted forest below Mt. Fuji is easier said than done. Something is causing hallucinations that send her screaming into the forest and making her doubt her own sanity. From the start, Dormer’s performance was drab. If I got a call that my sister was in the suicide forest I would be freaking out, not walking around void of any emotion. In fact I saw no emotional response until half way through the movie when things start happening to Sara herself. I found

When Sony took the stage at this week’s CinemaCon, a series of logos for upcoming projects played on a screen. Besides Insidious: Chapter 4, another logo grabbed the attention of horror fans, the logo for Zombieland 2. After years of waiting and wondering if we’d ever get the sequel to 2009’s zombie hit, it seems that the film is finally underway. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick,will be penning the script for Zombieland 2. The men are not new to the franchise, they wrote the scripts for the Zombieland series on Amazon. There is no word yet if any of the original cast will return for another around of zombie fighting fun. At this point that’s all we know. But after seven years, it is the only concrete news we’ve actually heard. And this time it really seems to happening. It’s time for Sony to “Nut up, or shut up.”, as Tallahassee would say. This morning I sat down to watch a movie that I had heard good things about, Final Girl. The film, directed by Tyler Shields, opened with a young girl sitting across a table from a stranger (Wes Bentley). During their conversation the man asks the girl a series of questions, gauging her answers to see if she is the girl he’s looking for. It’s revealed during the questioning that both of the girl’s parents are dead. He asks if she wants to come with him, so that he can train her. Her response? “Can I have ice cream?” Maybe it’s just me, but I would be asking a few more questions. In the next scene we see him teaching Veronica (Abigail Breslin) to fight. Her mission is assigned, take down a ring of killer friends, who like to hunt down blonde girls for fun. Of course, she sets it up where she happens to catch their attention. The leader of

Moondog Media is preparing to release The Horror on Digital VHX and limited edition VHS on April 1st. Jerry White III’s directorial debut film follows newly orphaned twins made to fight for their survival. Callie Ott (WTF!) stars along side Raymond Cramer in his first role. Twins, still reeling from the sudden loss of their parents, Malcolm (Creamer) and Isabel Rademacher (Ott) retreat to their family’s lake house for a weekend with their friends. The weekend started great, but is cut short when Malcolm and Isabel distance themselves from their friends. Once again alone the siblings are stalked by two masked assailants who invade the lake house. Malcolm kills one of the attackers, but becomes obsessed with tracking down the escaped partner. Riding Hood Motion Pictures has released a first look teaser trailer for their upcoming noir crime thriller, Wolf Mother. The film, written and directed by Erik Peter (The Toy Soldiers), stars Najarra Townsend (Contracted), Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan), Dave Vescio (Hick), newcomer Kaegan Baron ,and Kevin Pinassi of the Twin Peaks revival. In the first look trailer we watch as the film’s heroes as they hatch a plan to find and rescue Kaitlin Miller, a missing child star. The teaser explores the horror and suspense of their journey as they descend into the dark world of sex trafficking. “I’m drawn to stories that in someway are connected to the current state of mind. Troy Escamilla’s first full length feature film, Party Night, is set to premiere this Fall. Produced by Escamilla and Renee K. Smith, in collaboration with Fright Meter Films, Party Night is a throwback to the great slasher film of the 80’s. Timothy Sullins will be making his directorial debut with the film. “This film is truly a love letter to fans of the genre. There are many references in the script that horror fans will grin widely at, but the film is still unique in its own right,” Escamilla states. Party Night centers on six friends who become prey for a sadistic psychopath when they decide to ditch their high school’s after prom party for their own celebration at a secluded house. Escamilla is extremely familiar with the horror genre, he founded the Fright Meter Awards, with an international committee made of genre bloggers, writers, directors, producers, actors and fans, including us here at Horror Fuel. Chris Geere (You’re the Worst) is set to play the role of a paranormal investigator looking to boost the ratings of his reality-TV show. Geere’s character heads down to Mexico with his team to shoot an episode in an alleged haunted house. Geere and his team, all who are complete fakers, think that the episode will be enough to boost ratings and save the failing series, but when the house actually turns out to haunted he and his team must scramble to survive. The yet-to-be titled horror-comedy will be directed by Tony West. The film will be debuting as West’s first full length feature. It will begin filming this March in Villahermosa and Mexico City according to THR. Daniel Posada, Dark Factory’s CEO, will be producing. Hopefully the name of the film will be announced soon.
