Supernatural’s Season 13 Trailer Is Here And It’s Chaos

If you have been suffering from ‘Supernatural’ withdrawals we have something to tide you over until October 12th when the series returns, the first trailer for this season. The boys are back and will have their hands full. It’s been revealed that there is a “new Sheriff in town” in the trailer who wants to claim the throne in Hell. Looking suave in an all white suit, we have to wonder if the new bad guy is actually an angel. We also see Dean praying. Maybe he’s hoping that God will lend a helping hand since Cass (Misha Collins) is gone. Don’t worry, we haven’t seen the last of our favorite angel. I mean he is on the poster. We do get a small glimpse of the power that Jack, the Nephilim, (Alexander Calvert) wilds. He did open the portal to the alternative world as a newborn baby last season. Of course, the world is under threat. But isn’t always

Movie Review: ‘Parallel’- Mediocre Execution Of An Interesting Premise.

Reality – it’s difficult enough to deal with one’s own mundane reality on a daily basis. So it stands to reason as to why many people are interested in knowing how the other half live. However, what if there was a way to find out not quite how the other half live, but instead how one’s self lives in an alternate, parallel existence? Sounds intriguing, yes? For Heather and Neil, the reality of things is that they seem happy and very much in love. They met at a friend’s birthday party and it’s almost as if it were a twist of fate that brought them together. And from the moment they first lay eyes on each other it’s as if it was preordained that they be together. Of course fate, if you believe in such things, has a funny way about it, and the path it lays out is not always straight and true. And when Heather and Neil meet

The ‘Lore’ T.V. Show Has An Official Trailer

Last week, we announced that the upcoming Lore T.V. show has an official release date of Friday, October 13th. We included a brief teaser trailer in that article. As with most teaser trailers, we really weren’t shown a lot of what we can expect from the television show itself. Well, this morning a new, “official” trailer was released and it is chock-full of creepy images! The Lore T.V. show will be based on the popular Lore podcast, hosted by Aaron Mahnke, and it will give us 6 distinct episodes. Each episode will cover a piece of folklore that has given us many of our modern horror staples–werewolves, vampires, changelings and many other paranormal entities. The shows will use a combination of animation, narration and live action re-enactments. Rest assured, the likelihood of this series being a flash in the pan is slim, due in large part to the amazing talent that is backing the production up. Executive producers include an

Attack of the Rotten Tomatoes

The Sites Rotten Tomatoes ruined the summer 2017 boxoffice. The New York Times published this article on film review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes (read here). The site has been around almost twenty years. I was first introduced to it back in 2003-2004. As the Internet gained more of a foothold, Rotten Tomatoes expanded its base; and now, according to this article, its power to influence box office performance. Sounds like those parents who subscribe to the “not my kid” mentality. Couldn’t possibly be US, it has to be the school, society…anyone but us and the bad product we made. I wrote a similar article, which could be a companion piece (here) a few months earlier when another finger pointing article on RT got some press. Can a website that amasses critical reviews have so much impact on a film’s box office performance? Hollywood spins it both ways whenever convenient. When it comes to a franchise like Transformers, the studios love
