Get Ready To Binge Netflix’s New True Crime Series ‘The Innocent Man’

Pajamas, popcorn, Netflix, and True Crime…sounds like a great night in, to me. If that sounds like a great way to spend a chilly night to you too, we’ve got your next series to binge, “The Innocent Man”. The series is based on the non-fiction book The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town by John Grisham which documents two murders in the small town of Ada, Oklahoma in the ’80s. In the docu-series directed by Clay Tweel, the residents of the town are interviewed along with the two victim’s friends and family. Evidence and the murders themselves are also examined. As a filmmaker, I often find that the best stories are the ones we tell ourselves, but what surprised me was the extent to which that idea also permeated the criminal justice system. By re-examining these old cases I hope that viewers will identify the biases involved, even their own.” Tweel states. John Grisham, who also makes

BAFTA Award-winning filmmakers Gregor Barclay and Colin Bell have just released the trailer for Ribbons, their exciting post-apocalyptic horror-thriller that follows a small group of four very different characters trapped in a confined space – a windowless bunker that pushes relationships to breaking points, and minds to the brink of madness. Grant McPhee of Tartan Features, Paul Thomas of xFilm and Dave Gillies of Team Candiru produced. Our host is revealed to be what’s known as a doomsday-prepper -his subterranean bunker is equipped with everything that he and

Director Confirms ‘Maniac Cop’ Remake Still Happening

Several years ago, it was announced that a Maniac Cop remake was in the works, but there’s been no update in a long time. Recently during an interview with The Movie Crypt, John Hyams (Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning) who is set to direct the film gave an update. It will be a completely different thing tonally,” Hyams told the show. “I think that’s why I was hired. I think the reason why Nick was interested in me was because he saw what I had done with Universal Soldier, in the sense that I took it and made it my own and went completely off the reservation with it. Nick Refn loves exploitation cinema as much as the next guy, but he also is not interested in paying homage to things. He loves Maniac Cop, he loves the idea of it, he loves everything it represents, but he has no intention of making a tribute story.” We’ve spent the last

2013’s Evil Dead, long considered a remake of the 1981 classic, put a female lead character (Jane Levy) in the place of the original’s character Ash Williams played by Bruce Campbell (interview). It continues the first one, The coincidences on events between the first film and mine are not coincidences, but more like dark fate created by the evil book.” But that’s not all he revealed. He stated that he’s not done with the Evil Dead franchise. Earlier this year he was asked if there would be a sequel. Look, I love those movies,” Alvarez stated during a talk with Ew. “Making my Evil Dead was an amazing experience, it was my first film. So going back at some point will be a possibility. I mean,
