Yesterday, a legion of ‘Hannibal’ fans lost it when NBC announced that season 3 will be the series last season, the show had been canceled. I will admit, I am one those who expressed their anger and disappointment via social media with the tags #SaveHannibal and #EatTheRude. NBC’s reason for canceling the show? The network claims that the cancellation is due to the show’s low numbers, yet somehow, ‘The Voice’ was renewed (insert eye roll). Unlike Dr. Lecter, I guess some people just don’t have good taste. At least we have the rest of this season (3). We can only hope that another network will pickup ‘Hannibal’. I truly hope so, it’s an incredible show with a great cast, writing staff and a talented crew. There is a petition, which already has over 30,000 signatures, that will hopefully get someone’s attention. “Fannibals” please sign the Save Hannibal Petition . We will be waiting, and hoping to get good news soon.
