Six years after moving to India, a family sees its worst nightmare come true when their son Oliver (Logan Creran) is killed in an accident. Maria (Sarah Wayne Callies), still reeling from the loss of her son , is told of a remote Hindu temple and an ancient ritual that will bring her son back so that she can say one last goodbye. Maria, after being warned not to, opens the door that stands between her and her lost son. Now, Maria, her husband Michael (Jeremy Sisto) and her young daughter Lucy (Sofia Rosinsky) must face the spirits that she has released.
The Walking Dead’s Sarah Wayne Callies stars along with Jeremy Sisto, Javier Botet, Jax Malcolm, Sofia Rosinsky and Suchitra Pillai, in this dark supernatural thriller, directed and co-written by Johannes Roberts. Roberts co-wrote the script for the film along with Ernest Riera.
With The Other Side of the Door‘s theatrical release only days away (March 4th) 20th Century Fox has seen fit to tease us with a new clip titled “Get Out of My House”. The clip reveals Maria (Callies) at the end of her rope, confronting one of members of the Aghoris, an ancient Hindu sect that appears everywhere she goes.
