Games upcoming FPS survival horror Chernobylite has finally snagged a release date and will be coming out for PC players earlier this summer while Console players will have to wait for late summer to enter the dreaded Exclusion Zone. In Chernobylite players take on the role of a Stalker, someone fighting for survival in the Exclusion Zone of Chernobyl (that the Devs used 3D mapping of the real-life Exclusion Zone to make the game realistic as possible.). Players will have to survive the environment, other hostile stalkers, military personal, and supernatural creatures. The supernatural horror-thriller Agnes is set to make its premiere at Tribeca. Ahead of its debut, we sat down with its star, Molly C. Quinn, to discuss not only her role but also how it affected her personally. Molly C. Quinn is a name you should recognize, she’s had roles in many films, such as We Are the Millers, Doctor Sleep, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2, but you will probably recognize her more from her long-running series role on the crime series “Castle”, in which she played Alexis, Castle’s (Nathon Fillion) daughter. She’s easy to spot with her stunning long red hair. In Agnes, directed and co-written by Mickey Reece, a nun’s disturbing behavior sparks rumors of demonic possession at a remote convent. Headed your way this July is the thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass, starring Bruce Willis and Megan Fox. “While in Florida on another case, FBI agents Helter (Willis) and Lombardo (Fox) cross paths with state cop Crawford (Hirsch), who’s investigating a string of female murders that appear to be related. Lombardo and Crawford team up for an undercover sting, but it goes horribly wrong, plunging Lombardo into grave danger and pitting Crawford against a serial killer in a twisted game of cat and mouse.” The cast for this intense film, directed by Randall Emmett and written by Alan Horsnail, also includes Emile Hirsch, Lukas Haas, Machine Gun Kelly, Caitlin Carmichael, and Sistine Stallone. Games and Turtle Rock Studios blew up E3 with the extended trailer for the FPS co-op Back 4 Blood showcasing the story, what horrors await players, and a sneak peek at the PVP “Swarm” mode where players are pitted against one another as they are switched from being humans OR zombies. Also announced today during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Back 4 Blood will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch on Oct. 12 via Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One Consoles, as well as Windows 10 PC. Coming from a period of massive social upheaval in 1970’s Italy, the “Years of Lead” as they were called, inspired filmmakers of the time to dip their toes in all-manner brutal crime pictures (the poliziotteschi genre), and our fine fiends at Arrow Video have collected some of them in the aptly named Years of Lead collection, a series of five films on Blu-ray that represent the era to a “T”! First up comes 1975’s Savage Three which concerns Turin-based computer programmer Ovidio (Joe Dallesandro), and his two pals Peppi (Guido Di Carli) and Giacomo (Gianfranco De Grassi); a trio of bored-ass mother fuckers that aren’t above starting a soccer riot, stealing a car, and riding folks down if they like their wheels better… ya know, just for kicks! This Halloween, Bayview Entertainment will unleash Ben and Stacey Dixon‘s horror anthology Death Breed featuring three tales of terror starring some of horror’s biggest icons. And we’ve got the first trailer. The first tale called “Wolfsbayne”, stars Lloyd Kaufman, (The Toxic Avenger) and owner of Troma Films, Linnea Quigly (Night of the Demons, The Return of the Living Dead, etc.), Debbie Rochon, Jim O’Rear, and more. Ex Bloober Team members THE PARASITE have announced their first game they’re working on that brings a whole new look of the Slavic legend The Baba Yaga with her origin story in the game BLACKTAIL. In BLACKTAIL, players will be taken into an open-world first-person shooter where they take on the role of Yaga, a young woman cast out of her village for suspicion of witchcraft. Now armed with a bow and powers, she must journey through the world to find missing pieces of her past and unlock keys to her future. The game will also feature tough decision-making options for Yaga where her choices will lead her to become the guardian of the forest or down a twisted path of nightmares and become evil. The Player’s choices will also affect Yaga’s selection of abilities that will change based on her morality. BLACKTAIL will be released for Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

How far would you go to help keep a sick loved one alive? How willing would you be to enable an addicted family member? At what point would you begin to say “Enough is enough” in either of these scenarios and actually act on it? These are just three of the questions explored in writer/director Jonathan Cuartas’ arthouse horror feature My Heart Can’t Beat Unless You Tell It To. Three siblings live a bleak existence in their suburban home. Thomas (Owen Campbell) is the youngest, and he needs human blood to survive. He isn’t a typical fright-fare vampire, though. He is weak, often barely able to move without the help of his siblings, and totally dependent on them to survive.
