Fox Releases “THE X-FILES – First Look”

Chris Carter explains that the X-Files is back due to fan demand in this exclusive Fox clip! Duchovny (Mulder) and Anderson (Scully), talk more about what it is like to be a fan and have the show come back after nearly 15 years of being off the air. The X-Files finally comes to Blu-Ray

Tomorrow (December 8th), believers will finally be able to hunt spooks with Special Agents Mulder and Scully in glorious high definition as the complete series FINALLY comes to Blu-Ray! While I am personally excited to have finally have this release, I am a little shocked by the sticker price, a whopping $299.99 (WITHOUT tax)! However, Amazon and WalMart.com currently have it listed for $269.99. Don’t feel like spending $300 on this right now? No worries, Netflix updated their version of the X-files to HD with the announcement of the revival earlier this summer, so fans could catch up on all of their favorite episodes before January 24th. X-Files Creator Chris Carter Explains Why Mulder & Scully Are Not Together for the Revival Series

Fans all over the world have eagerly been awaiting the January 24th premier of the X-Files! In just over a month, we will finally get a chance to see Special Agents Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) on their television sets again. However, X-Files creator, Chris Carter, has confirmed that the two will not be together this season and that they are, in fact, seperated. Carter went on to say with an interview with TV Guide that, “it was important for me to be honest about where I felt the characters would be seven years later.” However, there is hope as he ended his statement with, “There’s always the possibility that they will patch up their differences.” Fans of the series have always loved the back and forth/will they won’t they between Mulder and Scully. “All of the darkness looks alive.” A Review Rodney Ascher’s “The Nightmare” Documentary.

While the idea of watching a documentary about sleep paralysis doesn’t seem that thrilling, Rodney Ascher has the ability to capture each sufferers moment of horror and somehow bring it to life for the viewer in his newest film,“The Nightmare.” Now, horror documentaries have a tendency to turn into mocumentaries, often spoofing classic horror films, however, this is not the case. “The Nightmare,” concentrates on 8 separate individuals, men and woman from all walks of life, all across the globe, who suffer from similar episodes of phenomenon known as sleep paralysis. While most modern day horror films are pure movie magic, these are REAL subjects, these are their REAL lives, REAL encounters, REAL experiences. Each interviewee shares multiple episodes throughout the film and while the victim is sharing their story, the film cuts back and forth to reenactments. Terror Films presents “Trace,” a supernatural thriller that follows a group of friends experimenting with a specific type of Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). After trying to make contact with a sprite at a party, the friends get a lot more than they bargained for… Soon the friends realize that they have opened a door to a realm that the living were never meant to see. Now, they are in a race against time to destroy the transmission in order to save themselves and prevent a demon from entering our world. ‘Trace” stars Nick Fink, August Roads, Jesse Pepe, Samantha Lee, Maddie McGuire, Jerod Meagher, Jeremiah Benjamin, Mike Capozzi and Herion Mustafaraj, and the cast is great! Zac Bagans’ Documentary On The Demon House Nears Completion

Zac Bagans, leader of the ‘Ghost Hunters’ paranormal research group, has stated that his documentary film ‘The Demon House’ is now in the last stages of post-production. The Demon House documentary follows “The Ghost Hunters” investigation of the Ammons House, known as “The Demon House”, that Zak Bagans purchased from Latoya Ammons last year for $35,000. The small house on Carolina Street, in Gary, Indiana looks normal from the outside, but there have been over 800 pages of reports of intense paranormal activity and even possession. Even the Captain of the Gary Police Department swears the house is haunted. Various Mediums and Psychics have stated that the house is infested with hundreds of demons and ghosts. Ammons’ children were reportedly possessed while living in the house. The paranormal events include her and her three children being attacked repeatedly by an unseen entity, seeing ghostly figures, her children levitating and walking up walls, the kids speaking in tongues and demonic voices.

The Deep End Games is trying something new in the genre of horror gaming. Much like other games, Perception puts a near defenceless character in a scenario filled with the unexplainable and the unsettling. However this time, your protagonist is blind. Yeah, you heard me, not deaf, blind. The story follows Cassie, a young woman who must use her wits and superior sense of hearing to solve the mysteries that plague the abandoned estate of Echo Bluff. Now, don’t worry, because the game isn’t going to just throw you into a dark room and expect you to fumble your way out. In fact it’s quite the opposite. You are geared to take on the haunts with a unique ‘echolocation’ style of sight, where every sound triggers a ripple, allowing you to see what’s around. Video Game Review: Thief

“Thief” where do I begin? “Thief” is a 2014 reboot of the PC exclusive stealth series of the same name that was popular back in the 90’s. The series was loved for it’s open world, innovative stealth mechanics and a likable main protagonists. Unfortunately publisher Square Enix and developer Eidos Montreal threw all that out and replaced it with black archaic background #246980, strange game-play and generic grisly archetype #410. As I am writing this review I am listening to Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” which only makes me more depressed to write this review because I really liked the “Thief” series. the original series came out at around the time first person shooters were starting to evolve. We got some of the biggest most influential shooters to date! “DOOM”, “Half Life”, “Halo” and “Thief” , not only did this game have nostalgia credit behind itself but it also had a really good developer handing it. Justin Long To Play A Paranormal Investigator In The Upcoming Film ‘Ghost Team’

The Orchard has acquired the distribution rights to Oliver Irving’s new film ‘Ghost Team’. The film was written by Irving and Peter Warren and stars Justin Long (Drag Me to Hell), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Amy Sedaris (Alpha House), David Krumholtz (This Is the End), Melonie Diaz (Be Kind Rewind) and Paul W. Downs (Broad City), according to Deadline. ‘Ghost Team’ follows a man, obsessed with the paranormal,who teams up with his depressed best friend, his nephew, a cable-access medium and an over-eager security guard. The team of ghost hunters get more than they bargained for when they embark on a paranormal investigation. Oliver Irving will be the first filmmaker to use the new Steadicam Tango, created by cinematographer Garrett Brown, in a film, giving ‘Ghost Team’ its own unique look.
