Did you know that legendary actor Tim Curry, known for his roles as Pennywise on the “IT” miniseries, Dr. Frank-N-Furter in Rocky Horror Picture Show, and so many other great films, once played the role of a deranged serial killer on the hit drama-thriller series “Criminal Minds”? He appeared on the season 5 finale episode “Our Darkest Hour” and again on the season 6 premiere “The Longest Night”, Curry played the role of the prolific serial killer Bill Flynn (aka “The Prince of Darkness), a serial killer turned spree-killer, a rapist, and a kidnapper. Final Trailer Falls For Netflix’s New Series “The Rain”

The final trailer for Netflix’s apocalypse series “The Rain” is here and teases the journey of two siblings as they take refuge in a bunker to avoid the poison-laced rain that has killed much of the world. The series, “picks up six years after a brutal virus carried by rain wiped out almost all humans in Scandinavia, and follows two Danish siblings as they emerge from the safety of their bunker to find all remnants of civilization gone and very few survivors. Set free from their collective past and societal rules, the group set out on a danger-filled quest through abandoned Scandinavia, searching for any sign of life. Netflix has unveiled the new trailer for their supernatural series “The Innocents”, starring Ravenous and Prometheus actor Guy Pearce, Sorcha Groundsell (Clique), and Percelle Ascott (Wizards vs. Aliens). The series was created and written by Hania Elkington (The North London Book of the Dead) and Simon Duric (The Crown, Black Mirror). Farren Blackburn and Jamie Donaghue direct the series. ‘Stranger Things’ Announces Two New Cast Members For Season 3

“Stranger Things” has added two new cast members to their lineup for season three. Netflix announced today that Cary Elwes and Jake Busey have both boarded the hit series. Elwes, known for his roles in Saw and Kiss the Girls is set to play the handsome but sleazy Mayor Kline. Mayor Kline is your classic ’80s politician who is more concerned with his image than the residents of Hawkins, Indiana. Busey who co-stars in the upcoming The Predator film and a regular on Robert Rodriquez’s series “From Dusk Till Dawn”. On “Stranger Things” he will be playing the role of Bruce, a journalist for The Hawkins Post. He has a sick sense of humor and questionable morals. Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder Sharpens His Fangs For Netflix Series ‘V-Wars’

THR is reporting that Somerhalder has signed on to star in Netflix upcoming series “V-Wars”. The 10 episode series based on the book of the same name from New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Maberry, centers on Dr. Luther Swann (Somerhalder), who enters a world of horror when a mysterious disease transforms his best friend, Michael, into a murderous predator. As the disease spreads society divides with people and the infected on separate sides. “Nightflyers” Series Finds New Showrunner And First Look Trailer

Earlier this year, Syfy ordered the series adaptation of “Game of Thrones’ author George R. R. Martin’s 1980 novella “Nightflyers”, which had a film adaptation back in 1987. Tracking Board reported today that Daniel Cerone, the “Nightflyers” showrunner has departed over creative difference. Ross Lynch To Star In Netflix’s ‘Sabrina’ Series

Following his starring role in My Friend Dahmer Ross Lynch is set to play the male lead in Netflix’s upcoming “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” series from Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa. Based on the comic series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the series finds Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) wrestling to reconcile her dual nature, half-witch and half-human, all while standing against evil forces that threaten her, her family and the human world. Lynch will play the role of Harvey Kinkle, Sabrina’s boyfriend. The son of a coal miner, Harvey is oblivious to the dark forces trying to pull them apart.
