The Child’s Play franchise has spanned thirty years and seven films, now it’s headed to TV. Back in February, we reported that the franchise is getting its own series. Creator Don Mancini and David Kirschner have been developing the series and over Twitter today, Mancini teased the show with a GIF. pic.twitter.com/5Xqve1w88H — Don Mancini (@RealDonMancini) June 22, 2018 While Mancini didn’t reveal any new details, we do that is will pick up where left off and will have a tone that is “dark and disturbing.” It will not be a reboot, simply a continuation of Chucky’s story. “We plan to use Child’s Play in the title,” Mancini has stated. “We want to definitely signal that we are going dark, darker than ever before. It’s going to be very creepy.” We also know that actor Brad Dourif, the longtime voice of our favorite killer doll, will return for the series, which will feature 8 hour-long episodes. Jon Bernthal’s Headed Back To “The Walking Dead”

One of the best love to hate/hate to love characters that has ever starred on “The Walking Dead” will soon be back. I’m talking about is wife-seducing, badass Shane Walsh, played by Jon Bernthal who now stars in Netflix’s “Punisher”. I know what you’re thinking, Shane died on the farm. But Bernthal has returned before, in season 3, during a hallucination scene. He’s coming back again for season 9. Today, TV Line confirmed that Bernthal will be returning as Shane once again for one episode of this upcoming season. We expect it to be in some form of a flashback or hallucination since he’s officially dead on the series. Season 9 is still months away and already a ton of bad news has already come to light, including that both Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan are leaving this season. The good news is that Norman Reedus has been offered a huge raise ($20 million) to take the lead.
