Fans of the ultimate bloodsucker will be excited to learn that the BBC and Netflix are making an unholy alliance to raise “Dracula” from the grave. Here’s the kicker, the new series adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic tale is from the team behind “Sherlock”, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat.
Set in 1897, the series will center on the blood-drinking count from Transylvania who sets his sights on Victorian London.
There have always been stories about great evil. What’s special about Dracula is that Bram Stoker gave evil its own hero.” Moffat and Gatiss stated. Vertue added “There’s nothing like fresh blood.”
