Johnathon Schaech (Quarantine, Prom Night) has been casted as zombie-human-hybrid Max for the Day of The Dead remake helmed by Hector Vincens’ (The Corpse of Anna Fritz) and written by Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination). Campbell Grobman Films produces after just finishing up with the highly anticipated Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel, Leatherface with Jeff Rice.

Synopsis:
“Follows a former medical student tormented by a dark figure from her past, who happens to be a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her..”
Day of The Dead is a modern day remake of George R. Romero’s 1985 chiller of the same name courtesy of Millennium and Campbell-Groban Films. Romero’s Day of The Dead has been remade once so far, so maybe second time’s the charm. Schaech will play the half-human/half-zombie Max.Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson, James Dudelson all act as producers.
