Word came back in 2014 that a Friday the 13th series would be coming to the CW Network that would explore a detective’s search for his brother who had gone missing on Crystal Lake.
We posted an update back in August of 2015 that director David Bruckner had stepped away from the project and that writer Aaron Guzikowski has signed on. Since then information has been scarce. Today, new information has come via Pizowell.com. A source close to the show has revealed that the CW has officially killed their plans to make the series. One of the many reasons the series never came to be is that many executives didn’t like the concept behind the show.
