Sir Patrick Stewart stars as a diabolical club owner in the upcoming violent film Green Room. In the film a down-and-out punk band, “The Ain’t Rights”, book a gig in a run-down, isolated bar in the back-woods of Oregon. When the band accidentally witnesses an act of violence backstage they weren’t meant to see. Now trapped the band must face off against the club’s owner, Darcy Banker (Stewart) and his henchmen, who will do anything to keep the their activities secret.
Green Room was written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier and stars Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Anton Yelchin, Mark Webber, Joe Cole, Eric Edelstein, Callum Turner, Kasey Brown and Kai Lennox.
Green Room premiered at TIFF 2015 and will open in select theaters nationwide on April 15th, 2016.
