Netflix Japan has just announced via Twitter that Polygon Pictures’ has an upcoming animated film, simply titled Godzilla, from directors Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita. The film will stream worldwide on Netflix later this year. It will also play in select theaters.
Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Junichi Suwabe, Kana Hanazawa, Tomokazu Sugita, and Mamoru Miyano will lend their voices to the characters in Godzilla.
