The co-writing duo of Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, the duo behind Saw IV, V and Saw VI, and The Collector, team up once again to deliver The Neighbor, the crime thriller directed by Dunstan.
In the film, set in Mississippi, a man discovers the dark truth about his quiet neighbor and that the man next door is keeping something or someone in his cellar.
John Stewart, who also starred in The Collector, leads the cast that includes Melissa Bolona (Shark Lake), Alex Essoe (Starry eyes), comedian Bill Engvall, Ronnie Gene Blevins (Fear, Inc.), Jaqueline Fleming (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter), and Luke Edwards (Jeepers Creepers II).
Synopsis:
In the town of Cutter Mississippi, most people keep to themselves. But when John comes home to find his girlfriend missing, He suspects his neighbor had something to do with her disappearance. When he investigates he discovers the man’s dark secret, including that he is hiding something in his basement.
Shaun Redick, Ray Mansfield, Jason Egan and Tony Sygo serve as executive producers for The Neighbor, which is set for release on DVD, Digital HD on September 6th from Anchor Bay.
