A few months ago we reported that the IT remake had cast  Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise, a part originally played by Tim Curry. A few days ago we speculated what the new Pennywise might look like. Well, we don’t have to wonder any longer. The first real image of Bill Skarsgard in the makeup and red nose has arrived, via Entertainment Weekly. And I have to admit, he looks pretty damn creepy.

Andy Muschietti (Mama) will be in the director’s chair for the two-part remake of IT, set to arrive in theaters on September 8, 2017. The first film centers on a group of teens, referred to as “The Losers Club”, who go head-to-head with the entity that takes the shape of Pennywise, a demented clown. The second will involve “The Losers Club” who have come back to town as adults and once again must face Pennywise.
