A farmer and his family has been cast out of a colonial plantation. They are forced to move to a remote piece of land bordered by a forest, rumored to be the home of witches and dark magic. Soon the livestock begin to act oddly, crops wilt and the children become plagued by an unseen force. As things worsen the family finds their faith, strength and family bonds tested. The family and community begin to suspect that the teenage daughter, Thomasin (Anya Taylor-Joy), is the source of the trouble.
The Featurette for The Witch was released moments ago and gives a more in-depth look at the film, which is now being supported by The Satanic Temple. The video features Director Robert Eggers with a message about the film.
