Law & Order:SVU’s Michelle Hurd has joined season 2 of Ash vs Evil Dead. Hurd has been cast in the role of Ash’s high school sweetheart, a reoccurring role according to Deadline. Unfortunately, that’s all that has been revealed about Hurd’s role at this point.
Ash (Bruce Campbell) will have to face his past in season two of Ash vs Evil Dead. Not only will Ash’s father (Lee Majors) and his childhood friend (Ted Raimi) come back into the picture, his high school sweetheart will also be entering back into his life, playing a big role in the upcoming season. On top of the past coming back to haunt him Ash, Kelly and Pablo are still coping with the events of last season which left Ruby (Lucy Lawless) in control of the necronomicon and the power to unleash hell on the world.
This season will consist of ten half-hour episodes, which will premiere on September 23rd on STARZ.
