Chris Geere (You’re the Worst) is set to play the role of a paranormal investigator looking to boost the ratings of his reality-TV show. Geere’s character heads down to Mexico with his team to shoot an episode in an alleged haunted house. Geere and his team, all who are complete fakers, think that the episode will be enough to boost ratings and save the failing series, but when the house actually turns out to haunted he and his team must scramble to survive.
The yet-to-be titled horror-comedy will be directed by Tony West. The film will be debuting as West’s first full length feature. It will begin filming this March in Villahermosa and Mexico City according to THR. Daniel Posada, Dark Factory’s CEO, will be producing. Hopefully the name of the film will be announced soon.
