After months of rumor and speculation, the role of The Walking Dead’s big, bad, brutal character Negan has been cast. Multiple sources, including The Hollywood Reporter have stated that ‘Supernatural’ actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan will play the role of The Walking Dead’s f-bomb dropping psycho path and leader of “The Saviors”. During the casting process the role of Negan went under the name Orin to prevent fans and press from finding out.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan played the role of Sam and Dean’s father in Supernatural. He also had roles in 2012’s ‘The Possession’, ‘Jonah Hex’, ‘Watchmen’ and many other shows and films.
Negan, known for carrying a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, nick named “Lucille”, makes the Governor look like a sweet fluffy kitty in comparison. Those of you who have read the comics know exactly what kind of character Negan is and what that possibly means for our favorite characters.
