Horror Fuel’s 6 Best And Worst Games Reviewed In 2019

The year is coming to a close and officially I have no more video games to review for the year! 2019 was a roller coaster of hits and misses when it came to gaming. There have been exciting announcements that are making gamers excited for the new year like the new Half-Life VR (my prediction is next there will be a Half-Life Mobile THEN we may see Half-Life 3), there’s been hyped up games like Death Stranding that disappointed and confused many and divided Kojima fans. Then there’s our little corner here in the world. I was fortunate enough to review quite a few games this year but it’s that time I have to look back at the ones that matter, the horror ones, and see which titles I’ve reviewed that after completion I would still keep their ratings the same, and which I would probably banish to the shadow realm! Here’s some behind the scenes info for you guys,

Stephen King’s ‘Carrie’ Getting A New Series Adaptation

Stephen King’s Carrie is being adapted once again. With three adaptations of one of King’s most famous works already in existence, it was a bit of surprise when we learned via Collider that yeat another version is in the works. There is one difference, this time Carrie‘s getting a limited series from FX and MGM. There may be one change to the iconic character played in the past by Sissy Spacek, Angela Bettis, and Chloë Grace Moretz. According to Collider’s Jeff Sneider, Carrie White will likely this time be played by an actress of color or a trans actress. Though it’s still very early in the development process and there’s no script yet, sources say that this time around, telekinetic teen Carrie White will likely be played by either a trans performer or an actress of color rather than a cis white woman.” Sneider stated. King’s famous tale centers on Carrie White, a shy, high school outcast who has been

Movie Review: Dead Don’t Die in Dallas (2019)

Great news; scientists have cured and prevented AIDS with a pill… bad news, you get zombie as fuck off that shit! So down Texas way, in the town of Eliasville; Beth Anne (Willam Belli) and Phil (Angel Martinez) two hold outs in the pill popping department have holed up in an abandoned building… too bad they aren’t alone, as homophobic preacher Samuel (Richard D. Curtin) and his family (including his closeted gay son) have taken up residence there as well. Soon our heroes must team-up with those that would destroy them (along with some vigilantes for good measure) if they are to survive the gut-munchin’ madness that threatens everyone; gay, straight, or other’s continued status as “living”. In all honesty, Dead Don’t Die in Dallas surprised the ever-lovin’ shit outta yours cruelly! Let’s start with some of the ol’ ghoulish goodness… namely the F/X work. While definitely more on the comedy horror tip, this flick nevertheless delivers quality practical effects

Blu-ray Review: Ultra Seven (1967 – 1968)

Continuing on with their presentation of the original Ultraman television episodes (the first two volumes of which I reviewed here), Mill Creek Entertainment brings us 1967’s Ultra Seven (which coincidentally is the Ultra series I’ve seen the most of thanks to TNT broadcasting dubbed episodes of the series in the mid-’90s). The long and the short of UltraSeven goes as follows: like a hot second from now, Earth finds itself balls deep in alien monsters… monsters that are hell bent on rippin’ our home turf a brand-new asshole. Not one to just sit on their collective asses, the Terrestrial Defense Force establishes the Ultra Garrison, a gaggle of folks that use the ultimate in technology to mix things up with those space bastards right quick! Now that’s all well and good, but the real ace-in-the-hole of the Garrison is the addition of Dan Moroboshi, a mystery man that isn’t really a “man” at all, but is in truth an alien
