Movie Review: ‘Crazy Lake’ Is An Insanely Uninspired 80’s Slasher Homage.
It’s spring break, and a group of college kids are heading to a lake cabin that belonged to the uncle of one of their friends. The locale, known as Crazy Lake, doesn’t get its name from the wild parties that happen there. The name came about due to rumors that psychotic patients, who were subjected to government experiments, were disposed of in the lake. But maybe, just maybe, one of these maniacs didn’t meet such a watery fate. Perhaps this psycho is still out there, roaming the woods. If that’s the case, spring breakers should beware if they visit Crazy Lake, as they may become a part of its murderous lore. Jason Henne and Christopher Leto shared directorial duties on Crazy Lake, working from a script penned by Leto. The end product is pretty unremarkable and uninspired, as Leto has basically dusted off old tropes and cliches of slasher films gone by – more specifically the Friday the 13th franchise.

Thankfully, Daryl Dixon and Michonne come to the rescue. Michonne informs the sheriff that the “Crumblies” were created by a batch of gingerbread gone wrong. As the threesome make their way to the “cookie safe zone” they meet “The Governer”. Paradies are nothing new to the puppets of the cherished children’s series. Jennifer Tilly, Halloween And The Chucky Franchise
Jennifer Tilly is an actress and voice-over artist who has appeared in numerous animations and movies of various genres and different critical reception, from less praised films to the Academy Awards nominated Bullets over Broadway. However, she is probably best known for the part she plays in “Chucky” franchise. And we can safely say, there is no Chucky without her. With the release of the Cult of Chucky on October 3rd, the series gains its newest, seventh edition. All just in time for the jolliest time of the year (Halloween). Jennifer Tilly, who played the lead role, has been in every consecutive installment since the fourth one — Bride of Chucky, dating back to 1998. Tiffany, played by Tilly, brought something new to the table as previously Chucky was mostly represented as a murderer. Tiffany, on the other hand, while hopelessly in love with him, shows him a more human and compassionate side; although she doesn’t really hesitate to kill

Woman (In Horror) Crush Wednesday: Barbara Steele
Wednesday is upon us again my Little Monsters and with that our weekly celebration of a wonderful Woman of Horror. This week’s lovely lady just seems to have been born to be part of our beloved horror genre…almost as if she stepped right off the pages of a Gothic horror story.
