Director Of Horror Comedy ‘At The End Of The Tunnel’ Doesn’t Let Major obstacle Stop Filming

Claire Wasmund took dedication to a new level when she ignored doctor’s orders and continued making her horror-comedy At the End of the Tunnel, returning to filming with 40 staples just two weeks after major surgery. Ouch! From the Press Release: Los Angeles, CA – September 9th, 2017 – While making a micro-budget feature film is hard enough, the crew for the horror, dark comedy “At the End of the Tunnel” had another obstacle to overcome. After running a successful Indiegogo campaign that raised $36,000, and one month away from filming, writer and director Claire Wasmund went to the doctor for what she believed was indigestion, but instead found she’d need major surgery that would require six weeks of rest. The female directed, written, produced, DPed, edited, and Latino starring film had already cast and locked locations; pushing the film six weeks could mean a loss of these and a delay for Indiegogo backers. The decision was made to only

The ‘Lore’ T.V. Show Has An Official Trailer

Last week, we announced that the upcoming Lore T.V. show has an official release date of Friday, October 13th. We included a brief teaser trailer in that article. As with most teaser trailers, we really weren’t shown a lot of what we can expect from the television show itself. Well, this morning a new, “official” trailer was released and it is chock-full of creepy images! The Lore T.V. show will be based on the popular Lore podcast, hosted by Aaron Mahnke, and it will give us 6 distinct episodes. Each episode will cover a piece of folklore that has given us many of our modern horror staples–werewolves, vampires, changelings and many other paranormal entities. The shows will use a combination of animation, narration and live action re-enactments. Rest assured, the likelihood of this series being a flash in the pan is slim, due in large part to the amazing talent that is backing the production up. Executive producers include an

Review: ‘The Autopsy Of Jane Doe’ Is One Of The Best Horror Films Of The Year

Last night I settled in to finally watch a film that I have been waiting months to see, The Autopsy of Jane Doe and it was everything I had hoped it would be. The film opens with a father-son ending the autopsy of a burn victim which actually turned out to be an accidental death. Just as the son, Austin (Emile Hirsch), is leaving with his girlfriend the sheriff turns up with a body found mysteriously buried in the basement of two murder victims. Feeling obligated to help his father, Tommy (Brian Cox), Austin delays his date to help with the body. As they begin the autopsy on the Jane Doe (Olwen Catherine Kelly) they start to notice strange things about her body. Not only has her tongue been ripped out, she’s been violated with a knife, and her organs look like they belong to a victim burned in a fire. But strangely, her body is spotless and she looks

Lethal Injektion Releasing New LP on the 15th

Known for their terrifying music videos (one which starred Horror Fuel favorite Samhain) and rocking beats, band Lethal Injektion will be released their brand new LP ‘Judgement Night’ on the 15th. Killer Clowns with giant nose rings aside, Lethal Injektion is a pretty kickass band, with a sound that reminds me of a lot of the metal and punk that was coming out in the mid 2000’s. While and LP isn’t a full album by any means, it’s at least a little taste of whats to come.
