Master Of Horror John Carpenter Has Four New Shows In The Works
John Carpenter. has been behind so many horror classics, such as Halloween (1978), They Live (1988) and The Thing (1982), just to name a few. Now, he has four new unnamed television series in development. Carpenter’s wife, Sandy King Carpenter, recently appeared on an episode of the podcast Killer POV and revealed that the four shows were currently in development and that her husband will be writing the pilot episodes of the shows, as well as serving as executive producer for all four. Mrs. Carpenter will be producing along side her husband. “Right now there’s four series waiting to go to network. As far as I’m concered, we’ll do all of them. I mean, they’re great and they’re different from anything that’s out there, and they again push the boundries of what’s horror. John would be directing the pilots and we would be executive producing them. There’s sci-fi, there’s horror, there’s one that I guess would be a sci-fi futuristic

On The Mid-Season Finale Of The Walking Dead…
WARNING SPOILERS !!!!!! The midseason finale of The Walking Dead was last night and as usual, fans had a lot to say. The episode was over run with walkers, but only had a few minutes of real action. The majority of the episode focused on the emotional aspect of the events and characters. At the beginning of the episode we saw the tower fall, bring down a large section of the wall. Walkers spilled through, filling the streets with hundreds of decaying, hungry walking dead. Maggie barely made it up the ladder to the tower and Rick and the group were split up. Rick, Michonne, Carl, Father Gabrial, Jessie and Ron sought refuge in Jessie’s home. Ron took the opportunity to try to kill Carl again, but failed miserably. Carl had one of the best quotes of the night. When he followed Ron (Porch Dick Jr.) into his room, to confiscate Ron’s gun, Carl looked Ron right in the eyes

Just Say No To George Lucas (Episode II)
Prequels It’s tempting to leave the brilliant Mr. Plinkett Star Wars prequel reviews to suffice for this post. I think they should be used in film classes everywhere. Red Letter Media’s brilliant look at what went wrong with the franchise is without equal and perfectly nails everything wrong with three installments that scarred memories and almost derailed a franchise. The critiques are raunchy and in terrible taste but they are also funny as hell and exquisite. See all of them HERE There are multiple parts for each film, but every single one of them is worth it. Watching the Plinkett critiques was far more entertaining than watching the actual films. &list=PL5919C8DE6F720A2D#action=share To someone who’s under the age of 20 and says his his least favorite film in the series is the Empire Strikes Back because “it was the most boringest one,” can I suggest you shut this review off right now before I carefully explain how much of a fucking

Creepypasta Legend Laughing Jack Blamed For Murder By A 12 Year Old Girl
The newly released court documents of a murder case, which took place in July of this year, reveals the details surrounding the terrifying events that led to the murder of Maria Torres, at the hands of her own twelve-year-old stepdaughter. What makes the case stand out? The fact that the murder was blamed on the creepypasta legend might have something to do with it. The teenager told officials that “Laughing Jack” told her to do it. The legend goes, Laughing Jack befriends children as an imaginary friend, before slicing them open and replacing their organs with candy. The events that took place are not only sad, they could have been prevented. The Indiana girl heard voices, including the voice of Laughing Jack, months before the murder and begged her father to get her help, but he didn’t. The girl (her name protected by the court) has since been diagnosed with P.T.S.D. and Dissociate Identity Disorder, once known as Multiple Personality

Dexter Returning To Showtime
Dexter Morgan, a brilliant blood splatter expert, and killer of killers, is returning to Showtime. Michael C. Hall’s dark character solves crimes by day and dishes out his own brand of justice at night. ScreenCrush reports that the head pf Showtime, David Nevins recently spoke at the TCA press tour panel. Not only did he discuss new series, but also the return of old favorites, including Dexter. “Dexter is the one show that I think about [Continuing]. It’s a question of when timing is right…” Nevins also commented earlier this year that “It would have to involve Michael. I would only do it with Michael.” Thank God for that! I hate when a long running series replaces it’s main star. “Dexter is a show in need of redemption. We know not every event from the series final can be undone (Deb is still dead), but there is a chance to go forward and tell a story of how Dexter Morgan

Norman Reedus Still Wants Silent Hills
There were very few smiles the day Silent Hills was stricken from Konami’s roster. In fact I feel bad for even bringing it up. But not for good reason! There’s a silver lining to this tale of woe. It might not be a “HOLY SHIT GUYS THEY ARE MAKING IT!” silver lining, but it’s good to hear nonetheless. Norman Reedus has recently stated that he is still totally down for the game to be made. Even though Konami has axed the project, Reedus has faith that Del Toro, Kojima will still be able to collaborate in the future on another project. I mean, with petitions going around the web since the announcement of the cancellation reaching thousands signatures, someone is bound to jump on to complete this project and get it done. Del Toro also gave his two cents on why he thinks it would have been a great experience for gamers. Word is, they were trying something new when

A Fleet Of Ghost Ships Arrive On The Coast Japan Like A Scene Out Of A Horror Film
A Fleet of eleven ghost ships have washed up on the coast of Japan. No, this is not the plot of a new horror film, eleven REAL ghost ships mysteriously appeared on Japan’s coast yesterday (November 28th), carrying the remains of of twenty-three sailors, like a scene out of the 2002 film Ghost Ship or the horror film The Fog. The bodies of the sailors are so badly decomposed that they are unidentifiable and have been described as skeletons. The only clues to the ship’s origins are a piece of flag in one ship, identified as a North Korea flag and a sign on one ship saying “Korean People’s Army”. The fact that ships appeared all at once would give the impression that they all set sail at the same time, but showing up the way they did is a little creepy. We will update you as the story develops.

The New Gremlins Film Will Be….
It was just a matter of time before Gremlins was added to the list of new remakes, or so we thought. Zach Galligan, who played the role of Billy in the original two films, announced that the new Gremlins film will actually be a sequel, not a remake. Galligan told an audience at a recent screening of the 1984 film “It’s not going to be a reboot. It will not be a remake in any way, shape or form. Chris Columbus has come out and said that the first film is very near and dear to his heart and as long as he is alive it will never be remade. So the only thing they will be – and apparently are going to be – doing is something along the lines of like Jurassic World, where it will be 30 years later.” There is no word yet if Galligan will be returning for the new film. Personally, I think it
