Kevin Bacon Is Going Graboid Hunting In A New Tremors TV Series

After the release of the recent fifth installment to the Tremors‘ Franchise, Tremors 5: Bloodline, Kevin Bacon expressed interest in returning to the world of Graboids once again, as Val. According to Entertainment Weekly, Bacon’s wish has been granted, in the form of a new television series. Bacon will not only star in the series, but serve as Executive Producer, along with Blumhouse Productions’ own Jason Blum and Universal. Andrew Miller will be penning the script. At the moment, all we know is that the series will be returning to the town of Perfection, where the original film (1990) was set. The show is currently being shopped to different networks, with several interested. I’m glad to here that Bacon will be returning to the franchise, but I hope a few of the other original cast members will sign on too. It would be great to see the gang back together, fighting Graboids and Ass-Blasters.

Is George Lucas THE PHANTOM MENACE? EPISODE I

You Won’t Have George Lucas To Kick Around Anymore George Lucas has been kicked around for the facial he gave us with the Star Wars prequels. While he’s taken a new drubbing in the media (Mostly as to why he’s not directing new Star Wars films/not asked to), it all adds to the hype for the upcoming Episode VII, but take a look: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/13/george-lucas-star-wars-episode-vii_n_6462960.html https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/why-george-lucas-wont-direct-841972 https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/13/george-lucas-star-wars-episode-vii_n_6462960.html https://www.digitalspy.com/movies/star-wars/news/a442537/george-lucas-i-wont-have-much-involvement-in-star-wars-7/ Before I go into the Cynema aspect of Lucasfilm, I want to ask all of the film fan experts how are YOUR movies are doing? You know the ones you don’t write? Don’t direct? Don’t produce? Let me be more specific: the ones in your heads, on your hard drives or in the reams of your unpublished fan fiction? Right. “Fans” have done more to ruin the enjoyment of the Star Wars franchise than George Lucas. Their rabid love for fantasy product has taken what was once a fun, cinematic experience and turned

Angelina Jolie As The Bride Of Frankenstein ?

Universal has already begun putting together their shared universe, which includes remaking all of their classic monster films. The revamp began with 2014’s Dracula Untold. Both The Mummy and Creature from the Black Lagoon are already in the early stages of pre-production. News broke earlier today that The Bride of Frankenstein is now too in the works. And Universal is not eyeing just any starlet for the role, they are aiming for Angelina Jolie, according to THR. There is no word yet who will be writing the screenplay or who will be in the director’s chair, but hopefully we will know more about the film soon. The original 1935 film, directed by James Whale, starred Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s monster, one his most famous roles. Elsa Lanchester played the role of the monster’s bride, who did not appear until the film’s final scenes, but with such a famous star cast in the role I’m sure the Bride will have more

Eli Roth’s Psychosexual Thriller, “Knock Knock”

It has been over seven years since the world has seen a directorial feature from horror director Eli Roth… However, in 2015 Roth released TWO, yes TWO, feature length films, “The Green Inferno” and “Knock Knock.” This review is about the later of the two. “Knock Knock” centers around a devoted husband, Evan Webber, played by Keanu Reeves, who just so happens to be home alone when two beautiful young woman unexpectedly show up on his doorstep. What sounds like a relaxing weekend for Evan, turns into a nightmare pretty quickly. Even though Reeves has some lackluster moments, I will say that pacing is beautiful and not once in the film are you kept waiting. Just 15 minutes into the film and we have already met the two leading ladies. Of all the modern day directors to use digital cinematography, Roth has somehow mastered it. He uses colors to play off emotion and drive the story forward… The lighting and
