J.P. Smith Slow Burns in Horror Novel ‘The Summoning’ – Book Review
Plot The plot in J.P. Smith’s novel The Summoning is great, but be warned that it is not easy or simple. It is full of twists, turns, surprises, and there of a definitely emotional, mental and spiritual weight to the novel. This is one of those powerful stories that will take its toll on you. The issues that are in this plot, wrapped in mystics and fraud, deal with the depth of the real emotions of loss and grief. There is so much in this plot that I don’t know how Smith organized and controlled it, but he does, and masterfully so. While reading it, I lost track of the twists and how they were used. Too often twists are used simply for shock value or just for the sake of having a twist, but, Smith uses them strategically to keep the audience (and characters) guessing. The turns in The Summoning progress the story and keep everything moving in the

If you’re still being burned by a certain cyberpunk game earlier this year or can’t get enough of the cyberpunk aesthetics, then The Ascent is for you! The Ascent takes players to another planet where a corporate-operated city stretches high in the air and is home to millions of workers (more like slaves) to The Ascent Group arcology from all over the galaxy. One day, the company’s systems shut down putting the livelihood of all who live in the city in jeopardy as rival corporate groups and black marketers try to take advantage. I’m letting slide some tech issues as it’s been announced that patches are on the way in August and September but let’s get on to the game itself! This is a third-person shooter where the camera is set at a higher angle so aiming during combat can be slightly

4K UHD Review: The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970)
Slammin’ Sammy (Tony Musante) is one of those American “writer” types… he’s also completely devoid of the creative spark, so he’s parked his ass down ol’ Italia way in the hopes that a change of scenery will give his juices a jolt! Speaking of “jolting” things, our man Sam gets a real eyeful when he spies the ol’ murder biz goin’ down in a fancy-ass art gallery (really, there are seldom any other kind), but the victim, one Monica Ranieri (Eva Renzi), turns the tables on her faceless assailant who flees into the night (but not before being a real prize-winning dickus to ol’ Sam and Mony-Mony via some electronic doors and slow torture). Enter: Inspector Morosini (Enrico Maria Salerno) who gives our man Sam-I-Am some static, as he holds the writer in Rome in the hopes he will help crack the case with the absolute unending terror he witnessed and all… but the killer at large is more than
