'Oppenheimer' Maybe The Most Unnerving Film Of The Year (Trailer)

‘Oppenheimer’ Maybe The Most Unnerving Film Of The Year (Trailer)

Director Christopher Nolan‘s new film Oppenheimer may be the year’s most unnerving film. The film industry is a buzz about the film ahead of its July premiere. Everyone is talking about how the film leaves critics noticeably shaken and devastated. It doesn’t hurt that the movie is inspired by a true story, which always makes it more intense. “Some people leave the movie absolutely devastated,” Nolan said to Variety. “They can’t speak. I mean, there’s an element of fear that’s there in the history and there in the underpinnings. But the love of the characters, the love of the relationships, is as strong as I’ve ever done.” Nolan also added, “It is an intense experience, because it’s an intense story. I showed it to a filmmaker recently who said it’s kind of a horror movie. I don’t disagree.” The film thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save

Blumhouse Adapting New Hit Novel 'The Quiet Tenant'

Blumhouse Adapting New Hit Novel ‘The Quiet Tenant’

Blumhouse, known for its chilling films and series, will soon deliver either the adaptation of Clémence Michallon’s debut thriller, The Quiet Tenant, published earlier this month. There is no word yet if the adaptation will be a series or film. One of the most-anticipated novels of the year (IndieNext, GoodReads), The Quiet Tenant has just been published by Knopf in the U.S. and Abacus in the U.K. Hailed as “spell-binding” (Megan Abbott), “absolutely brilliant” (Brad Thor), “creepy, claustrophobic, and compelling” (Vogue), and a “tour de force of suspense and character” (The Big Thrill), the novel introduces author Clémence Michallon as an important new voice in the suspense genre. “I read Clémence’s novel in one sitting and was riveted. The story has all the elements of a great screen adaptation,” said Jason Blum, founder, and CEO of Blumhouse. “Jason Blum is one of the most dynamic producers working today,” said Michallon, “with an enviable slate of motion picture and television credits,
