Earlier this year I visited the set of ‘Stan Against Evil’ where they were filming their second season. I had the pleasure of meeting Mick Ignis, a talented actor who plays many of the demons and witches on the hit show. Last night, I was able to catch up with Ignis about his roles in the supernatural series which premieres on November 1st. Horror Fuel: “I absolutely loved the first season of ‘Stan Against Evil’. Can you tell us a little about your roles in season one?” Ignis: “I’m so happy to hear that! ‘Stan Against Evil’ is an absolute blast to shoot and it was such a pleasure to drop in for the first two episodes last season. I got to introduce audiences to our first monster, a vindictive witch named Stella Stanas, who’s the first to take advantage of the town demon-hunters death by killing her husband Sheriff Stan Miller…fortunately the only thing she ends up killing is

A couple of weeks ago I saw a movie titled The Vault (review). I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a film that claimed to be half horror and half heist film. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the story interesting and fresh, it has a fantastic cast that includes Scott Haze, James Franco, Francesca Eastwood, Taryn Manning, Q’orianka Kilcher, Clifton Collins Jr. and many other talented actors. In the film, in order to save their brother Michael’s life, the Dillon sisters, Leah (Francesca Eastwood) and Vee (Taryn Manning) have organized a bank robbery, but when the upstairs vault doesn’t have enough money to cover Michael’s debt, on the advice of Assistant Bank Manager Ed Maas (Franco), they drill into the downstairs vault. But the bank’s basement hides a terrible secret and before long, the Dillons have to choose whether to face the police outside or the terrible supernatural forces from the vault below.” I had the

Actor-producer Demetrius Stear and I recently had a conversation about his role in the upcoming supernatural thriller The Domicile and more. Stear is a busy man between his acting career and the projects he is producing. The Kentucky native spent several years in the US Army before beginning his career in film which is heading in a great direction. Stear has appeared in films like The Domicile which is now out on VOD and DVD, Death Pool, Buddy Hutchins, Little Red Rotting Hood (on Netflix now), 12/12/12, and Sorority Sister Slaughter. He’s also had roles in series like ‘Comedy Bang! Bang!’, ‘Deadly Wives’, and ‘Unusual Suspects’. Stear in Buddy Hutchins Horror fuel: “How did you go from being in the Army to being an actor?” Stear: “I’ve wanted to be an actor since I was a kid. I just really didn’t have the confidence or the road map to do it. I come from a small town in Kentucky, so

Most people recognize the name Samhain as the spirit of Halloween, but there is an entertainer/public figure that goes by the same name. Meet Samhain. With a clown-like painted face, ghostly white eyes, nails that would impress Freddy Krueger, and safety pins jutting out from his bottom lip, Samhain makes appearances across the country at conventions, haunted houses, in movies and can be seen in music videos like the one below from “Stands With Fists”. Samhain, whose real name is unknown, has a monstrous following which he calls “The Cult of Samhain”. His followers and fans, referred to as his “little ones”, tune in religiously for his videos and live discussions where he discusses different topics on anything from bullying, to abuse and more. He takes the time to speak and respond to each “little one” that he can with a calm smooth voice and that eerie smile. He’s also known for his unapologetic bluntness. In each video, he reveals

One of my favorite genre franchises revolves around Chucky, star of the Child’s Play films and Bride of Chucky which was followed by Seed of Chucky and Curse of Chucky. Now, the little red-headed possessed doll is back in Cult of Chucky. When we first met Chucky back in 1988, he stalked Andy, a young boy. Andy was played by none other than Alex Vincent, who also starred in Child’s Play 2 and 3. Vincent made his return to the franchise in Curse of Chucky and co-stars in the upcoming sequel Cult of Chucky. We got the chance to ask him a few questions about the franchise and more. Horror Fuel: “What was it like to be a child actor on the set of Child’s Play?” Vincent: “Working on the child’s play films as a child was a lot of fun! I got to leave school for a few months and go to LA to work on a film with

I recently sat down for an interview with Aaron Wolf, actor-writer and director of the upcoming film Tar, a movie about a monster released during construction near the La Brea tar pits in Los Angeles. Wolf gave us a lot of insight into the film, photos from the set and more. Synopsis: In the murky depths of Los Angeles’ world-famous La Brea Tar Pits there lies an ancient secret – a creature that, once awakened, emerges to wreak havoc on the modern metropolis. For 40,000 years, a long forgotten wetland teemed with ancient creatures, but now all that’s left is a pit of hot, sticky tar surrounded by a vast urban landscape. For Barry Greenwood and his son Zach, there’s not much left of their family business either. With the city’s subway expanding under their feet and their office building slated for demolition, Barry, Zach and their employees are forced to shut down their shop and move out. Three family

I sat down to speak with actor-writer-producer Ivan Djurovic about his past, present and upcoming projects. In particular we wanted know more about ‘It Watches’, in which he stars. He also co-wrote the film, along with Dave Parker, and produced it. He began by speaking highly of the cast and crew of ‘It Watches’. ID: “It Watches would never be what is with out the amazing cast and crew. They believed in the project and gave it their all. It’s really humbling that people will go out of their way to help when they believe in something. My mother came out to L.A.. She did all the catering for the movie. She made two meals a day for 20 to 30 people a day in my little apartment.” Horror Fuel: “You Play both character roles and suit characters, do you have a favorite?” ID: “Yes. Earlier today, I had the pleasure of speaking with writer-actor-director-musician Thomas Dekker. Dekker proved to be a well-spoken, kind, passionate, insightful man whose main driving force is simply to create, rather it be on film or stage. At 28, Dekker already has more experience in the film industry than many actors will see in a lifetime. His first role at only the age of four. In 1995 he played the role of David in ‘Village of the Damned’. His career has been non-stop since. In 2010’s reboot of ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street,’ he played one of the main characters, Jesse. In the hit series ‘Heroes’ he co-starred as Zach. You should recognize Dekker as John Connor from ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ or from his role on ‘The Secret Circle’. The list goes on. To say that he’s been a part of a lot of amazing films and series is an understatement. Now, he has turned his attention to
