The Interview With The Vampire Reboot Confirmed
We reported back in May that a reboot of Interview with the Vampire was in the works under the direction of Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars) who will be working with writer-producer Jill Lillington. Boone posted a photo on his Instagram account revealing that two of Anne Rice’s novels, Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat, would be combined for the film. “We’re really focusing on The Vampire Lestat, but we are using elements from some of the other books as well.” Boone said recently in an interview with Nightmare Magazine. The big question is who will star in the reboot. Boone hinted that Jared Leto may have the part when he tweeted a picture of the actor with the caption “Lestat – there can be only one. #JaredLeto”.
