Mike Flanagan To Direct Series Adaption Of THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE For Netflix

Netflix has ordered the series adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s 1959 novel, ‘The Haunting of Hill House’, long considered one of the best modern ghost stories written. Mike Flanagan will be in the director’s chair for the 10-episode series. He will also write and executive produce it. Referred to as a “modern reimagining”, the series has yet to be given a title. In the 1999 version, Eleanor, Theo, and Luke decide to take part in a sleep study at a huge mansion they get more than they bargained for when Dr. Marrow tells them of the house’s ghostly past. Soon the house and the spirits within come alive. Mike Flanagan is
