After opening in theaters in May of 2015, Relativity Media is finally releasing the nightmarish film Before I Wake from director Mike Flanagan, who co-wrote the film with Jeff Howard.
Flanagan is the same director behind 2013’s Oculus and the 2016 home invasion thriller Hush. His next project is the upcoming film Ouija: Origins of Evil, the prequel to the 2014 paranormal film, directed by Stiles White.
Starring Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Annabeth Gish, Dash Mihok and Jacob Tremblay, Before I wake follows a young couple who have just agreed to foster a young boy after losing their own son. Soon, the couple learns that whatever the boy dreams manifest into reality, including his nightmares.
Before I Wake will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD September 9, 2016.
