We hate to be the barer of bad news (we really), but the nightmarish film ‘Before I Wake’ has been pulled from release. At the moment there is no word if another date has been set. ‘Before I Wake’ is from Relativity Media and director Mike Flanagan, who co-wrote the film with Jeff Howard. It premiered at this past July’s Fantasia Film Festival and had been set for a September 9th release date.
Starring Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Annabeth Gish, Dash Mihok and Jacob Tremblay, ‘Before I wake’ follows a young couple who have lost their young son. They agree to foster Cody, a sweet 8-year-old boy who is terrified to sleep. Soon, the couple learns that whatever the boy dreams manifests into reality, including his nightmares. While his dreams create beautiful, amazing things, his nightmares bring to life terrifying visions and dark entities. To save their new family the couple must uncover the truth behind Cody’s nightmares before it’s too late.
