Movie Review: Lost Gully Road (2017)

Lucy (Adele Perovic) hauls ass to that hoary ol’ chestnut; a secluded cabin in the woods, to escape from her mega-shit relationship. Naturally, human companship is hard to come by out in the middle of East Asshair, but Lucy does manage to get chatty with both the owner of the abode, (Jane Clifton) and a shopkeeper (John Brumpton), who may be a bit on the questionable side. Even with those two scamps, the days become a sea of boredom, and even though the promise of relief in the form of a visit from Lucy’s sister Cassie is looming large, the stay at the cabin begins to become right shit. An Interview With Michael Broom, Concept & Storyboard Artist For The Walking Dead & More

When most people think of a movie their first thoughts are that of the actors or the director, but special effects artists are the backbone of any great film. Special effects master, storyboard and concept artist, and comic book creator Michael Broom took the time to answer a few questions about his career and the creatures he has created. You might not know it, but you have seen Broom’s creations many times. He has worked on a number films including The Mist, The Cabin in the Woods, The Thing (2011), The Crazies, Jennifer’s Body, Predators, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, R.I.P.D, and Lost Boys: The Tribe, as well as series like AMC’s mega hit The Walking Dead, and MTV’s Teen Wolf. Horror Fuel: “What got you interested in Special effects, makeup, and creature design?” Broom: “I grew up in the heyday of the Monster Renaissance. Star Wars, Alien, JAWS all came about around the same time. Couple that with TV showings of

We’re Returning To ‘The Cabin In The Woods’ For A Sequel

‘The Cabin in the Woods’ has been hailed as one of the most important horror films of the past decade. At the end it appeared the world was coming to an end, or was it? Lionsgate has now approached the original film’s director, Drew Goddard, about doing a sequel. I’m not sure exactly how they would pull it off, but I would be happy to watch it. In an interview with Den of Geek, Goddard revealed part of his discussion with the studio about doing a sequel. “The studio has approached me and they want to do a sequel, funny part is, I don’t think we planned that movie to do a sequel, you know? But that being said, the fun thing about Cabin is, that rules are pretty crazy. We get away with a lot of stuff,” Goddard continued “So, I’me sure we could figure it out if we got inspired to. I know Joss and I both feel
