I don’t want to jinx anything, but we are talking about trying to do a television show that is based on the idea.” Neumeier is currently on the hunt for the series a home. With the number of special effects that would be required for the series, it would need to be backed by a big network, like Netflix or Hulu. Darkness Reigns begins at with the world Premier of Darkness Reigns (meta as fuck, yo!), at which the film’s sad sack Director seems incredibly reticent to talk about it. We then switch to some found footage style behind-the-scenes of the film within the film’s creation which eventually leads to cast and crew taking up residence in a haunted hotel (different from a horror hotel…much less necking with ghouls), and folks become used and abused by a demonic force that goes apeshit on ’em six ways to Sunday…and may have ties to someone on the crew! The found footage aspect was handled incredibly well, the characters were actually fun to watch (including a game performance from the aforementioned Van Dien) with a very noticeable

This July watch as Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers Alita: Battle Angel) takes on a demon in Emmy nominee Andrew P. Jones‘ ( Haunting on Cellblock 11) supernatural flick Darkness Reigns. In the film, a group of filmmakers shooting a movie in a reportedly haunted hotel are faced with an unfathomable demonic force that possesses and attacks both the crew and the film’s star, Casper Van Dien. Will the film’s director be able to escape with the paranormal proof he has captured, or will he succumb to the hellish plans of the demon who has surfaced? Zachary Mooren (“Aquarius”), Linara Washington (“Grey’s Anatomy”), and Jennifer Wenger (Tales of Halloween) co-star. Will the film crew survive? You’ll have to watch to find out. Luckily, you won’t have to wait long to find out, Darkness Reigns lands on VOD on July 10, 2018, from Wild Eye Releasing.

Everyone has a fear. Maybe yours is Arachnophobia (spiders) or Ophidiophobia (snakes). Mine happens to be Musophobia, rats, mice. I don’t know if it’s the teeth or those bald tales, but I do know that I had a little trouble watching the new trailer for Ratpocalypse. First reported back in 2015 when it was released in Moscow, Vladimir Uglichin’s Ratpocalypse stars Casper Van Dien. After a long wait, the film is finally coming stateside. The film centers on “American Senator John Perryman (Van Dien), a man of pure and humble soul with a warrior’s disposition, delivers a fiery speech in Moscow about the country’s main evil – corruption. A corruption so pervasive it will turn men into “rats.” He declares that he was ordered to speak to them from above and threatens everyone with the loss of their human form, which draws only guffaws and resentment from the people. Many take the Senator for a madman as gradually, all his
