Streaming Services Battling It Out To Win ‘Godzilla Vs. King Kong’

Like many films these days, it looks like Godzilla vs. King Kong will reportedly be bypassing theaters and heading straight to streaming platforms. THR is reporting that Netflix is aiming to acquire the film, offering a staggering $200 million for the upcoming movie from Legendary Pictures. However, they aren’t the only ones after the property. But word is, Warner Bros. Media wants it to premiere exclusively on their HBO Max service. The epic next chapter in the cinematic Monsterverse pits two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another – the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong with humanity caught in the balance. Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Rebecca Hall, Lance Reddick, Kyle Chandler, Danai Gurira, Ziyi Zhang, and Julian Dennison star in Godzilla vs. Kong, directed by Adam Wingard, which is currently in post-production. Godzilla vs. King Kong is set to premiere sometime in the spring of 2021, the question is where?

Another Lead Actor Leaving ‘The Walking Dead’

“The Walking Dead” is losing another of their longtime leads. Several months ago it was announced that the lead actor Andrew Lincoln (Rick), was exiting the show, but sticking around for upcoming spin-off movies. Now Rick’s love interest, Michonne, played by Danai Gurira, is about to say goodbye as well. We won’t be saying goodbye just yet though. THR is reporting that Gurira will return for several episodes of season 10. After that, well, let’s just hope she’ll make an appearance in one of the “The Walking Dead’s” movies. As soon as a premiere date is announced for season 10 we’ll let you know. We expect a date to be announced soon for the first movie. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of this season.

DVD Review: The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special is Frightfully Funny!

Robot Chicken, those pop culture skewering puppets turn their goofy gaze upon gut munching soap opera The Walking Dead in the appropriately titled The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special: Look Who’s Walking. Over the course we learn the true story of The Walking Dead as visitors to a TWD themed museum in the future are set straight by someone who knows the tale best (though they may want to do a special edition to change said character for…reasons). Anyway, when I say true-story I mean a series of short skits of varying levels of offensiveness (speaking of which, all of the F-bombs hat would be censored on Adult Swim are front and center here) and stupidity (the good kind, not the unbearable, obnoxious variety)…where most of the major storylines (as of October 2017) and characters are lampooned to admittedly hilarious effect…and there’s also a musical number or two as one does. Along with the twenty two minutes of non-stop laughs

Who’s Next To Go On ‘The Walking Dead’?

With the lackluster departure of Carl, the main focus of AMC’s top-rated show The Walking Dead, fans are now worried about if their favorites are even safe anymore! All that Chandler Riggs was doing was going to college and the writers lamely killed him off slamming the door in Riggs’ face preventing him from returning to the show. Well, now it seems two more favorites are going next. It’s been said before that contract negotiations are not going well with Lauren Cohan (Maggie) that’s leaving her future in the series in limbo. The biggest shocker of who may be leaving next is Danai Gurira who plays the sword-wielding Michonne. Forbs has reported or have made a convincing argument, that Gurira may end up leaving The Walking Dead soon. The reason why she’ll end up leaving will inevitably be because she’ll want to move on to other work as the offers for spots in movies will be rolling in now after

Danai Gurira Gives Insight Into Michonne’s State Of Mind

When we first introduced to Michonne she was tough, and a bit cold. Over the past few seasons we have seen her let down her guard and form a loving relationship with her group, especially with Rick, Carl and Judith. Last season we witnessed Michonne and Rick share a heated moment and began a real relationship. That still continues but Negan’s arrival has brought tension into their affair. While Rick seems to have submitted to Negan’s rule, Michonne has no interest in being Negan’s servant and that is causing the two love birds problems that are only going to escalate. It’s a bit hard to judge what is going on in Michonne’s head. She is not a talker and has one hell of a poker face. According to Danai Gurira who plays the Katakana wielding, walker killing, badass, Michonne and Rick have grown apart. She’s at a place where she knows they need to prepare for dealing with [Negan] and
