70 Year Old Nick Castle Returns as Mike Meyers

I am not sure what the majority of people thought about Rob Zombie’s ‘Halloween’ but I really enjoyed it (the sequel was…..ooh well). But I was surprised when rumors and then facts regarding yet another reboot came to fruition; however, I am gaining more and more interest in it based on the information we are getting. It will be based more on suspense and psychological fear than Zombie’s. And now we know that Nick Castle – the original Mike Meyers – will return to his role as a senior citizen. The Original Michael Myers Is Coming Home For The New ‘Halloween’

We first met the iconic silent killer Michael Myers back in 1978. John Carpenter’s masked creation has stalked Haddonfield, Il, our dreams, and our Halloweens ever since. After 40 years, Michael Myers, often referred to as “The Shape”, is coming home. Nick Castle, the man who originally wore the white mask, is returning to the role for the upcoming 2018 film, Bloody-Disgusting reports. While Castle will be “The Shape”, James Jude Courtney will be doing the stunts for the role. There’s more. ‘Blue Bloods’ Actress Joins The Cast Of ‘Halloween’

Fans are already drooling over next year’s Halloween. Today, we have some exciting casting news. Tracking Board is reporting that ‘Blue Blood’s’ Andi Matichak has been cast as the film’s young lead and will star alongside Judy Greer and Jamie Lee Curtis who will be reprising her role as Laurie Strode. Matichak is believed to be playing Greer’s daughter and Curtis’ granddaughter. Directed by Gordon Green, who co-wrote the film with Danny McBride, the film follows Laurie Strode who will have her final confrontation with her brother Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her all her life. The film was scored by John Carpenter who serves as executive producer along with Malek Akkad, and Jason Blum. Green Danny McBride will executive produce under their Rough House Pictures banner. Michael Myers returns home on October 19, 2018.

Filming For ‘Halloween’ Has Been Delayed

Fans are thrilled about getting a new sequel in the Halloween franchise and the fact that Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to reprise her role as Laurie Strode just makes it sweeter. The latest news is that filming has been delayed until mid-January. The reason? Casting is taking longer than expected. Casting News For ‘Halloween’ Reveals New Plot Details

Last month we reported that Jamie Lee Curtis will be returning to the Halloween franchise to reprise her role of Laurie Strode. Today, more casting news comes via Deadline. According to their report, Judy Greer (Jurassic World) has entered negotiations to play a key role, that of Laurie Strode’s daughter, Karen Strode. Is Laurie Strode Returning To Haddonfield Next ‘Halloween’?

Jamie Lee Curtis coming back to play Laurie Strode? Is this a trick or is this a treat? Well, my Little Monsters, it appears to be a huge Halloween treat, indeed. Not for this Halloween mind you, but just in time for the big screen next Halloween. On the next Halloween film’s release date of October 19th of 2018 to be exact. The Sites Rotten Tomatoes ruined the summer 2017 boxoffice. The New York Times published this article on film review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes (read here). The site has been around almost twenty years. I was first introduced to it back in 2003-2004. As the Internet gained more of a foothold, Rotten Tomatoes expanded its base; and now, according to this article, its power to influence box office performance. Sounds like those parents who subscribe to the “not my kid” mentality. Couldn’t possibly be US, it has to be the school, society…anyone but us and the bad product we made. Alien: Covenant Lands Blu-ray And DVD Release Date And Amazing Special Features

It hasn’t been long (May) since Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant opened in theaters to the excitement of many fans. Fox Entertainment is not wasting any time getting the Prometheus sequel/Alien prequel to store shelves with a late summer Blu-ray/DVD release. Fans will be thrilled to learn that 20 minutes of deleted scenes from the film will be included on discs. In all, there are over 100 minutes of special features, which is mind-blowing. Movie Review – ALIEN: COVENANT Isn’t ALIEN Yet, But It Doesn’t Have To Be

It’s been ten years since Peter Weyland financed the ill fated Prometheus expedition, intent on finding and meeting the supposed creators of the human race or “engineers”. Now Weyland Corp. has become Weyland Yutani, and their focus is now that of “building better worlds”. To that end the company has sought out other habitable distant planets for the purpose of colonization. The crew of a Colony Ship named Covenant are charged with transporting over 2,000 cryo-slumbering colonists and over 1,000 frozen embryos to their destination on the planet Origae-6. A few days ago we reported that Danny McBride and David Gordon Green are making Michael Myers mortal again. Since then, McBride appeared on the Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show to reveal more details surrounding their upcoming Halloween movie and confirmed that filming is set to begin this fall.
