Michael Myers Won’t Be Immortal In The New Halloween

Back in February we reported that Danny McBride and David Gordon Green will be bring Michael Myers back for a new film. The two who are writing the film, with Green directing, have dropped tidbits of information. They have said that they want to return Michael to his former glory in what is being described as a sequel to 1981’s Halloween II. In a recent interview with The Empire Film Podcast, McBride revealed that Michael will not have any supernatural or immortal properties. He will simply be a disturbed man in a mask. I think we’re just trying to strip it down and just take it back to what was so good about the original. It was just very simple and just achieved that level of horror that wasn’t corny. New ALIEN: COVENANT Video Explores What Happened To The Crew Of Prometheus

A few days ago we shared a new trailer for Alien: Covenant. But since today is Alien Day, it is only fitting that a new video has been released, a prologue titled The Crossing. In the prologue we learn more about what happened to the crew of Prometheus expedition. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. New ALIEN: COVENANT Images Reveal The Neomorph Has A Taste For Flesh

Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant is set to be the bloodiest of the franchise. New aliens, know as Neomorphs, and the classic Xenomorphs, will become the crew’s worst nightmare. So far, we have only gotten glimpses at the Neomophs, but thanks to Empire Magazine we get our first real look at the blood-thirst creatures. This month’s issue not only comes with a special cover for subscribers, the Covenant focused issue will be getting an Alien cover as well (above). The the special edition will delve into the Alien mythos and the story behind Covenant which is a sequel to both Promethius and the original Alien film. Crewmembers Leave Messages Amongst Chaos In New Alien Covenant Promos

Last month news came via Master of Horror John Carpenter that the upcoming Halloween movie would be in hands filmmaking team Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, with Green directing. Jason Blum of Blumhouse will produce the project. Did I mention that John Carpenter will be serving as executive producer? He is. Are you psyched yet? …So you say you want a Revolution?
