Tom Holland Reveals Even More ‘Fright Night’ Coming

We have already heard from Tom Holland — the genius behind ‘Fright Night’ – about a very exciting ‘Fright Night 3’ project. However, Holland is not finished with his announcements. According to his twitter account, @RealTomHolland: If you dug the ‘Fright Night’ comic book series back in the day, I have good news. I’m bringing it back! New stories and illustrations are under way. Stay tuned for more tales from Peter Vincent! #FrightNight The original ‘Fright Night’ series came out in 1988 and included two issues along with five special issues. I have no doubt that Mr. Holland will deliver gold with the continuation of his comics, the only thing I hope for is even more ‘Fright Night’ in the future!

Tom Holland Drops Hints About Fright Night 3

Horror icon Tom Holland shared something interesting on Twitter this weekend, “the Fright Night copyrights come back to papa” in 2019. That’s all thanks to the Copyright Act of 1976 which allows the US Congress to make it possible for artist to reclaim their licensed work after a period of 35 years. Back in 1984 Holland, who wrote and directed ‘Fright Night’, had to sell the rights to get the film made. And boy are we glad it got made! Photo Credit: Lynn Peters So, what does all this mean? HorrorHound Weekend: A Celebration of What We Love to Fear

. Since July 2007, fans have attended HorrorHound Weekend to have the chance to mingle with monsters, monster makers, victims, and final girls. Right now HorrorHound Weekend’s Indianapolis convention is just under four weeks away. “Why should I go?”, you ask. Well, because David Arquette,Michael Rooker, Tony Todd, and Pam Grier will be appearing there. The Road to Death House Pt. 3

“Please don’t let this be full of jump scares like The Conjuring movies.” “I hope this is smart and actually has a story.” “I don’t expect much from this. It’ll likely suck. Just accept it.” “Stupid title. Stupid premise. Nothing to see here, folks.” “This will suck.” “I have hopes for this.” “Based on the cast of old stars [that] they have, I don’t see this being any good.” Internet comments. Most of them from “trolls.” Trolls are people I sum up by asking a simple question: “And where is the movie you made?” Oh…that’s right. I believe there can be too much democracy. The Internet has given a voice to groups of people that should not have one. Cynema: Fright Night or…Why Remake When You Can Retitle?

A Valentine To Old School Horror Remaking a film falls under the old adage: “Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.” Netflix reviews or more accurately, article comments are dotted with such phrases like: “the film is old” or “it’s dated.” Better yet, “it’s foreign.” All three signify a concern in American pop culture: a fixation on the superficial and a refusal to give anything deemed “old” a chance, largely by a generation that prides itself on ignorance and is unappreciative for the previous work done by others that affords it the indifference it treats anything deemed unworthy of its attention.
