Shudder Snags ‘Speak No Evil’ Ahead Of Sundance

Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller, and the supernatural, has acquired rights to psychological horror Speak No Evil ahead of its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. An official selection of Sundance Midnight, Speak No Evil is written and directed by Christian Tafdrup (A Horrible Woman) and is set for release in North America, the United Kingdom, and Ireland in late 2022. In Speak No Evil, on a vacation in Tuscany, two families – one Danish, one Dutch – meet and become fast friends. The Trailer For Horror-Thriller ‘In The Forest’ Reminds Us The Forest Is A Dangerous Place

Vertical Entertainment has just acquired the upcoming horror film In the Forest, written and directed by Hector Barron (Josh is Dying), and announced the film’s release later this month. The film’s trailer reminds us that the forest is a dangerous place. “In the Forest watches as Helen (Debbon Ayer) and her daughter Emily (Cristina Spruell) reluctantly accompany Helen’s father Stan (Lyman Ward) on a family camping trip, driving deep into the forest for a real outdoors experience, only to have angry landowner Howard (Don Baldaramos) arrive and force them to leave. Release Date Announced For Upcoming James Wan Produced A.I. Horror ‘M3GAN’

Allison Williams (Get Out) has now signed on to star in as well as executive produce the upcoming Blumhouse horror movie M3GAN, whose release date has just been announced as January 13, 2023. Williams stars Gemma, a brilliant roboticist at a toy company. Using artificial intelligence, she creates M3GAN, a life-like doll programmed to be a kid’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. After unexpectedly gaining custody of her orphaned niece, Gemma introduces her to a M3GAN prototype, which has unimaginable consequences. Akela Cooper (Malignant, “Luke Cage”) wrote the script based on a story by James Wan and Gerard Johnstone (Housebound) who will be directing the film. Jason Blum and James Wan are producing. Michael Clear, of Wan’s Atomic Monster, will executive produce with Judson Scott. Ryan Turek will executive produce for Blumhouse. Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath will executive produce for Divide/Conquer. Mark Katchur and Allison Williams will also serve as executive producers.

‘Honeycomb’ Trailer Arrives Ahead Of Film’s World Premiere
