Franchise Star Judah Lewis talks ‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’ In Our Interview

In 2017, Judah Lewis faced off against a group of satanic killer teens in The Babysitter. Now he’s back for another round of blood-drenched fun in The Babysitter 2: Killer Queen which has just been unleashed on Netflix. I got the chance to talk with Judah about both the original and the sequel. We discussed the challenges of being a young actor in his everyday life, filming the movies, and much more. Check out our interview. The Babysitter: Killer Queen picks up two years after the events of the first film. Lewis stars as Cole who survived the killer blood cult the first time around. Just when you think that high school couldn’t get any worse, the cult is back from the dead and they still have their sights set on Cole. Lewis stars alongside Bella Thorne, Hana Mae Lee, and Robbie Amell in the McG directed film. Emily Alyn Lind, Jenna Ortega, Andrew Bachelor, and Leslie Bibb co-star along

Movie Review: ‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’ Is A Frighteningly Funny Flick

There are few genres I love as much as horror, but horror-comedies are right up there on the list. When you can find one of those rare films that can both scare you and make you laugh, you’re in for a treat! Two years ago we were left overjoyed with Netflix The Babysitter, so when Netflix announced the sequel, The Babysitter: Killer Queen, I was beyond excited. Now, that bad boy is about, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! Judah Lewis returns as the quick-witted Cole, this time around he doesn’t just have a cult to deal with, everyone thinks he made up the events from the first movie. If that’s not enough, there’s also the regular high school drama. The poor kid can’t catch a break. Lewis has acting talent beyond his years and pulls off the character to the “T”. The combo of goofy, sweet, and slightly badass is perfect for this character. He’s relatable

Movie Review: Summer of 84

After kids begin to disappear around their town in 1984, a group of friends begins their own investigation. After spending their summer gathering evidence they zero in on a suspect, their neighbor officer Wayne Mackey (Rich Sommer). The closer they get to the truth, the more danger they face. Graham Verchere, Judah Lewis, Caleb Emry, Cory-Gruter-Andrew, Tiera Skovbye, Jason Gray-Stanford, and Rich Sommer star in Summer of 84. Directed by the trio of François Simard, Anouk Whissell, and Yoann-Karl Whissell, Summer of 84 is a dark, brilliant, pulse-pounding throwback to the thrillers of the eighties’. When we first meet the boys, you can understand how their parents could believe they’re jumping to conclusions, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. They will soon face a serial killer. The young cast did an absolutely fantastic job of not only projecting the innocence of their age but also their character’s fear and determination to find out who is behind the missing

Movie Review: Summer of ’84 (2018)

Remember the days when kids looked at girly mags, swore a lot, and went on neighborhood adventures that got them BD in danger with the quickness? I sure as fuck do, and so does RKSS (the directorial team that brought us post-apocalyptic ’80’s homage Turbo Kid), and boy are horror hounds all the better for it! Summer of ’84 begins with four neighborhood chums (all archetypes; the fat kid, the nerd, the average Joe, and the leather-clad bad boy) playing a modified hide and seek game…a childish diversion in an environment that has the dark cloud of a rash of missing children hanging over it like a pitch black cloud. The “average Joe” of the group, Davey Armstrong (Graham Verchere), begins to suspect that something is amiss with his police officer neighbor Wayne Mackey (Rich Sommer)…an outwardly friendly sort that just so happens to have a padlocked room in his basement. Now it’s up to our heroes to put the
