Back in 2015 an Aussie zombie flick, Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, made big waves in the genre. They’re back with a new sequel, titled Wyrmwood: Apocalypse and we’re psyched! Take a look at the first images from the movie below! Archlight Films Chairman Gary Hamilton made the announcement today that they will distribute the action-packed zombie flick. The film stars Bianca Bradley who we interviewed about Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, along with Jake Ryan (Warner Bros.’ The Great Gatsby), Luke McKenzie (BBC Films’ Perfect Sense), Bianca Bradey (RLJ Entertainment’s The Osiris Child), Jay Gallagher (Momentum Pictures’ Nekrotronic), Shantae Barnes-Cowan (Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s series “Operation Buffalo”), Tasia Zalar (USA Networks’ “Mystery Road”), and Nicholas Boshier (ABC’s “Soulmates”). ‘Wyrmwood’ Director Is Head Into The ‘Dark West’ To Face Vampires

Back in 2014, writer-director Kiah Roache-Turner unleashed zombies in the action-packed movie Wyrmwood followed by the series of the same name. Now, he’s going to release vampires into the world in the film Dark West, which he will be directing from the script he co-wrote with Richard Kadrey (Sandman Slim). Dark West is already being compared to “The Hitcher and Near Dark” by The Wrap who states that “Dark West is a vampire revenge thriller set on the highways of Texas that follows two car thieves who accidentally T-bone a pair of vampires in the middle of the night.” The project from Winterlight Pictures. Hopefully, we’ll know more soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead.

Movie Review: Nekrotronic (2019)

From the dawn of time, a cadre of Nekromancers has battled legions of demons for the fate of the world. As it is the age of smart phones being perma-glued to people’s hands (though as you will see, this film gives zero-fucks about presenting anything as lofty as social commentary); the Queen of the Underworld (the always jaw-dropping Monica Bellucci) is developing an app that will allow those dastardly demons to wage cyber warfare on an unsuspecting mankind who think the app is a simple ghost finding program, rather than a means of swipin’ their very souls. This brings us to dopey sanitation worker named Howard (Ben O’Toole) and his equally clueless best friend (Epine Bob Savea). You see Howard’s legacy is to become the ultimate Nekromancer and he is tasked with ending that arcane app and the Queens machinations for good. Our world is pretty much fucked. Coming from Co-Writer (along with Tristan Roache-Turner)/Director Kiah Roache-Turner (who previously brought

Six Minute Clip Unleashed For Zombie Series WYRMWOOD: CHRONICLES OF THE DEAD

Australia’s 2014 indie zombie flick Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead was a hit with genre fans. Between it’s fast paced action and a unique story line (which is hard to do these days), the film left quite an impression on fans of the over saturated subgenre. Now, the TV series Wyrmwood: Chronicles of the Dead, directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, is approaching its premiere and has unleashed a six minute clip. In a recent interview with Bianca Bradey, star of both the film and the series, we learned that it will be a seven part supernatural series with a “Walking Dead meets True Detective” vibe. It’s a seven part series. It’s going to be very hard hitting. They are going for sort of The Walking Dead meet True detective style. It’s going to be gritty and edgy. It’s got a lot of supernatural twists to it. They are turning the zombie genre on its head again. The concept is completely original.

A Review Of The Zombie Film Wyrmwood: Road Of The Dead

There have been a flood of zombie movies released over the past few years, making it hard for one movie to really stand out, but ‘Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead’ does just that. Writer-director Klah Roache-Turner’s Australian film has already accomplished what most horror films can’t, a world-wide following. The film stars Jay Gallagher (War Games), Bianca Bradly (This Woman’s World), Damian Dyke,Keith Agius, Berynn Schwerdt, Cain Thompson, Leon Burchill and Sherida Harbridge . ‘Wyrmwood’ follows a man (Gallagher) who had to make the heart-breaking decision to put down his wife and daughter after an asteroid triggers a zombie apocalypse. Along the way Gallagher’s character Barry, teams up with a group of survivors. Barry’s sister Brooke (Bradey), is taken by a military group and handed off to a psychotic doctor who is performing experiments on both zombies and people. After a series of shots, Brooke develops the power to control zombies telepathically. Brooke is as badass as she is beautiful
