Back in 2014, writer-director Kiah Roache-Turner unleashed zombies in the action-packed movie Wyrmwood followed by the series of the same name. Now, he’s going to release vampires into the world in the film Dark West, which he will be directing from the script he co-wrote with Richard Kadrey (Sandman Slim).

Dark West is already being compared to “The Hitcher and Near Dark” by The Wrap who states that  “Dark West is a vampire revenge thriller set on the highways of Texas that follows two car thieves who accidentally T-bone a pair of vampires in the middle of the night.”

The project from Winterlight Pictures. Hopefully, we’ll know more soon. In the meantime, be sure to check out Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead.
